Charged after cancelling refunded only after a dispute
I cancelled my subscription the same day I signed up because I quickly realized the service wasn’t for me. I did not use the service afterward, but approximately three months later I was billed again.
When I contacted the company, I had to go through an extended back and forth to dispute the charge. The refund was not offered immediately. It was issued only after I strongly challenged the charge and posted this Trustpilot review.
To be fair, the company has now refunded the money, and I have updated my review to acknowledge that. However, I do not consider the refund a “goodwill gesture.” In my view, it was the correction of a charge that should not have occurred after I cancelled.
I recommend that anyone cancelling keep proof of the cancellation and watch their credit card statements carefully.

Unclear subscription costs and renewal
Unclear subscription costs and renewal, and their customer service refused to issue a partial refund to me despite me explaining that I hadn’t used the service since the day I signed up and always intended to cancel. They only reversed the decision once I left a poor review here. You shouldn’t need to threaten bad reviews for a company to deliver adequate and empathetic customer service. Hopefully they learn a lesson from me keeping the review score as is.

My Resume Wasn't Reflected in the Job Matches
I was initially impressed by Global Work AI's marketing. Their website states that you only need to upload your resume once because their AI uses it to understand your experience and job preferences. They also promise to provide curated job matches tailored to your background, rather than irrelevant mass listings.
Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
I uploaded my resume, completed my profile, selected my preferences, and used their filters to exclude industries where I have no experience. Despite that, I received recommendations for software development, healthcare, finance, and IT positions—roles that clearly do not match my background or the preferences I selected.
I contacted customer support twice to explain the issue. Both times I received essentially the same response: "Let us know what kind of job you're looking for, and we will check available vacancies for you."
This was particularly frustrating because their website explicitly states that their AI understands your experience and preferences based on your resume and profile. If that's true, why am I being asked to manually explain what kind of job I'm looking for? It left me with the impression that my resume, profile, and selected filters were either not being used or were not being used effectively.
I understand that AI-powered matching isn't perfect, but if a service advertises personalized job matching based on your resume and preferences, I think it's reasonable to expect those features to work as described.
I hope they improve their matching system because the concept has a lot of potential. Based on my experience, however, it did not deliver on the promises made on the website.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We genuinely appreciate you outlining your experience.
We're sorry to hear that the job recommendations you received did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be when the roles suggested don't appear to align with your background and the preferences you've carefully selected.
Our support team asked for additional information about the types of roles you were looking for because, in some cases, it helps us investigate whether the issue is related to your search criteria, available opportunities, or the matching process itself. We apologize if this came across as contradictory to the platform's intended functionality.
Your feedback regarding the relevance of job recommendations is valuable, and we've shared it with our product team as we continue improving our AI matching capabilities. While our goal is to deliver personalized recommendations based on your resume and profile, we recognize that there is still room for improvement.
Our CS team refunded your order in full, so hope this at least helped to resolve situation from our side.
We appreciate your balanced feedback and your recognition of the platform's potential. Thank you for giving Global Work AI a try, and we wish you all the best in finding the right opportunity.

Not Worth the Money
I paid for three months of alleged vetted job searches; the filters I apply do not work at all- not even for what jobs to exclude! Also, I see i.e 130 jobs found but there are jobs that are posted in the listing up to 10 times in a row and do not match my filters included in those "130". Also, the "tailored resume" feature is subpar: free editions of AI tailor the resume better-for free! Very poor features is a way to describe this site- job board. I will certainly NOT extend the subscription. Update: I took today screenshot showing the SAME listing of "recommended" jobs that I listed as to "exclude" from searches. I would like to provide the photos as evidence but I am copy/pasting it: logo

CANCEL IN TIME
Whatever you do, if you don't find a job in a month be sure you know the date and cancel because they will NOT refund you. They will fight you tooth and nail. I have never encountered a business when you tell them you're not satisfied they don't give you a refund. They will send you screenshots of searches and show all the positions and go to great lengths to keep your money. I didn't give them 1 star because there are some good options of jobs. You really do have to fish through them and apply to a lot. Its the customer service or lack there of that I am not pleased with

Not very impressed
Not very impressed. If you have disabilities, this site is not very accessible or easy to utilize. There is no side scroll bar, so you cannot scroll down to read the job descriptions. in order to view the job descriptions, you have to reduce your screen zoom to 30%... so it is too small to read. They also keep matching me jobs that have nothing to do with my actual skill set, and jobs that I am not even close to being qualified for. It is also expensive, and it does not offer a free trial period. One good thing I can report is that the company refunded my payment and assisted with canceling my subscription.

It's like indeed, but you have to pay for it....
You go through a questionare that's designed to narrow down your specific job search parameters, then sign up and pay for the service. The problem is, the quetionsire is a complete waste of time since the search engine does NOT narrow your search down. You have to do that through a manual filter when searching for jobs.
Just stop wasting people's time with that list of bogus questions. Also, a large portion of the questionaire is asking if you're tired of looking at job sites only to find spam postings or fake jobs, and globalwork.ai is supposed to emilinate those posts. There are just as many spam jobs on this site as there are on linkedin or indeed. It seems like just an extension of those job boards.
I clicked apply on a job and it took me to the listing on linkedin...and there's multiple postings of certain jobs (like 3 pages dedicated to one job). This site is just another way for companies to syphon money from consumers without delivering real results.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it.
First, regarding the questionnaire: the answers you provide there are used to pre-set filters inside the product, helping personalize your experience and narrow your search automatically. It’s possible that this didn’t work correctly in your case, and we’ll definitely look into it to make sure those filters are applied properly in every scenario.
As for spam or fake job listings — you’re absolutely right that this is a huge issue across the entire job market right now. Our platform uses a built-in scam validator that automatically flags and removes suspicious posts. However, because scammers are getting increasingly sophisticated, some listings can still slip through. We currently clean up roughly 10% of our listings daily, but we agree our filters can always be improved, and we’re actively working to make them stricter.
Regarding LinkedIn postings — yes, some of the jobs you see on GlobalWork.ai are sourced from LinkedIn. The reason is that many legitimate openings are only available there in the “Easy Apply” format, and we include them so users don’t miss real opportunities.
We appreciate your honest review — it helps us make the product better.
