I got a voicemail telling me to call so I might setup an account with this company to connect with a friend, but when I called, I found out my friend wasn't even there anymore! It was a big mix-up and a waste of money. To make things worse, when I asked for a refund, they said no because of their policies. It was so frustrating and unfair. I felt like I was being treated poorly. I'm not going to let this slide. I will tell everyone about my bad experience with this company and report them to the FCC. They need to know that they can't treat customers like this.

My nephew entered a credit card on this pop up site by mistake. I tried to get them to settle this but they kept saying give us a chance. I had to dispute the credit card purchase.

This service is a total scam. They charged my card and when I could not use the service they refunded my card but took 15 dollars. Our society is full of scam artists like this.

The worse service , they are liars who steal your card info and offer to give you a portion of what they scammed you for , they are based i think in India also .

Hello, I authorized the incorrect account. I need to cancel this account immediately I would also like a full refund. I called the support team and spoke with Aristel. I have been informed that I cannot receive a full refund. I suffer from mental illness and I didnt understand why I could not receive a refund. At this time I do not have my mental health legal aid advisor with me so I asked to speak with a supervisor to ensure that I am understanding the information correctly. I could no longer speak with the representative on the phone, and she continued to be condescending, repeating the same thing over and over so at that point, I repeatedly asked for a manager. At this time I was informed that there are no managers that I could speak with a different colleague that I could speak with. At this time Aristel hung up in my face . I would like to report that your customer service representative hung up in my face out of frustration and did not cancel my account. I am also still in limbo trying to understand if I can receive a full refund as I called the exact moment the payment went through to cancel this account. Before she hung up the phone, she said I need to deal with the billing department. I was not offered a transfer or their contact phone number, except for the hang up in my face. I would like to speak with a manager or be offered a full refund due to the inconvenience, the misunderstanding and the miss treatment from your customer service support team.

It's bad enough that a loved one is locked up. On top of this stress, GlobalTel is running a scam. I went to their website to add money to my phone. I entered all the necessary information, including the credit card information and clicked submit. Then I received a text message stating I was charged $45.99 for some new service they have. They don't give any idea of how cheap the calls will be or if you still have to put money on the phone so the inmate can call. When I called customer service to cancel the service, she rudely explained all the information about the terms and conditions for this service, however she couldn't explain why the website never showed and of these terms and conditions when I entered my information into the system. The service was cancelled in less than 24 hours, yet I was told that GlobalTel would be keeping $14 of my money. I don't know, but this definitely seems like a scam to me.

Total scam site as soon as you enter your card info they charge you because it's in the terms and conditions, not a normal invoice or subscription service or anything. Total bs because they don't have the Terms and Service or agreement visible unless you review the fine print. very scammy.

They are a scamming website! They cannot provide a rate per minute for phone calls using their services. Than their website mimmicks that of Global Tel Link which is the legit website for inmate calls. GlobalTel dot com website is misleading as they have the sign up button before any mention of cost/charges, than thier website automatically agrees to terms/conditions for you, than when setting up an account, there is NO mention thar they are about to charge you 49.99. There is no way to add inmate, view what the call rates with their service will be, and the postcard website is not valid! Than when you contact the company, they are rude, hang up on you and reiterate the same stupid script and tell you they will only refund $35. Do NOT use their website. They have 91 complaints with BBB, no official Google listing, and all fb reviews are bad.
