This is a third-party forwarding service (globaltel.com) that deliberately uses a name almost identical to Global Tel Link (GTL / ConnectNetwork) to trick vulnerable families.They will immediately charge your card a flat fee (like $54.99). You do NOT get jail minutes for this, and you will still have to pay the real jail provider (like Securus or ViaPath) separately. If you try to cancel right away, they will refuse a full refund and try to keep a "cancellation fee". Total scam tactics exploiting families of incarcerated individuals. Stay away!

Do NOT BE FOOLED! THIS IS NOT GLOBAL TEL LINK. This is a scam and not the right company. This is horrible to have happen on top of having an incarcerated family member. $54.99 charge, tried calling and they told me couldn't find account. After three times of being hung up on they said they were keeping $19.99 of my money. Clearly need to get authorities involved in this as this is a fraudulent business. I cannot wait until these individuals are in prison for this crime and the real Global Tel LINK refuses to service them aahahaha. Serious scumbag fraud company.

The ABSOLUTE worse company ever. Total rip off. You’re better off dealing with globaltellink even if it is a few extra dollars. This company sucks!!!!!!

If I could leave a 0 for this company I would - the customer "service" does not exist - the name is misleading. I thought I was signing up for inmate calling and charged 54.00 for the service! OUTRAGEOUS! I contacted my bank and the charges were reversed - the Global Tel.com charged it again reversing the charge - when I contacted the company they kept saying they don't see a charge - and my bank gave me a credit already - not sure who they hire but I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!

Very poor customer service, was charged 54 dollars for a phone call when I was only trying to add money to a loved ones commissary account. Buyers beware, they then only want to refund 35 of the 54 very trashy place as you can see in here!

They just got us as well. I reported them to the BBB and I’m going to dispute the charge. That’s all I can do.

It should be an option to where a company don't even have 1 star, this company is a scam they know exactly what they're doing. I added money to GTL so I went online to set up an account to check my balance, when typing in global Tel link on Google this here came up, after entering my info instantly $54.99 was taken out of my account. I been sending emails about giving me a refund, they keep sending me a message talking about give it another thought but yet I'm telling them to give me my money back. I called finally got someone on the phone she's talking about all I can receive back is $35 they're keeping $19.99 then when telling her to just give me my refund she began talking over me then hung up in my ear. I'll definitely be notifying my bank about this & meantime something needs to be done about this fraudulent a** company
