Misleading Order process. I was looking for transition glasses but ordered permanent tinted by mistake. I called to get an exchange, and apparently they don't do any exchange, only returns and you only get 50% of your money back. RIPOFF. Customer Service was rude as well, instead of being understanding of the wrong order, she kept telling me that I made a mistake and pointing a finger at me and there was nothing to be done in terms of exchange. Ridiculous. Never ordering from them again. Don't waste your money.

Terrible experience with this company. They charged me more than the total. Then argued with me about it. BAD customer service. You GET what you pay for. Not worth saving a few dollars.

I ordered from the first pair free and got a pair of big, black, cat eye glasses. When the glasses arrived, I loved them. Still do! The prescription was perfect, and the specs were flawless. I have only good things to say about the product itself. Website--easy to navigate, and always has a sale so you'll never pay full price. My first experience, I tried to get a free pair of glasses, and it snuck in an $8.99 charge at the checkout without warning and without explanation. When I chatted with a customer service rep, she said it was because my pupillary distance (PD) was not within the range of those particular frames, so they'd have to do extra work to make the lenses fit. (I looked and re-checked after the chat, and my PD was well-within range, according to what was on the web page.) I chose a different pair instead. That $8.99 snuck in out of nowhere and the incorrect information on the website was not a good first impression. Customer Service--They didn't seem to have a clue what was going on with my order. The website's updates showed the glasses were manufactured within just a few days. Then, the website said for nearly a week that my glasses were being shipped from China to Michigan. I got in touch with a rep via live chat on 3/23, and she said that my glasses should arrive in Michigan in 2-3 days, and then would be shipped to me. 2-3 days later, no change in the website's status. However, I received my glasses on 3/28, 16 days after I ordered. The shipping label showed them being shipped from Michigan on 3/21, and customer service didn't seem to have any idea. In fact, a month later, the website STILL shows that my order is somewhere between China and Michigan, even though I've had them for weeks now. The generic nature of customer service's answers and the company somehow losing track of my glasses, 1.) makes me thankful they got to me; and 2.) makes me hesitant to order from them again. I ordered 10 pairs of glasses from a total of 4 online sites within weeks of each other, and had no issues whatsoever other than this with any site or order. THEN--the kicker. I went to post a review on their site for the glasses, and said wonderful things about the cat eyes. I included the info about the website not updating correctly and generic customer service, and gave them 4 stars as a result. HOWEVER, when I later checked, they had increased it to a 5-star rating and edited out some of my review. So now they get 3 starts for integrity issues. Would I order from them again? Maybe. *IF* there was an incredible sale going on, *AND* they had frames I was dying for that I couldn't get for a cheaper price on any other site. With 10 pairs, I think I'll be good for a while.

I ordered a pair of glasses using the perscription I received from my eye doctor (which hasn't changed in over 10 years). When my glasses arrived one lens was accurate the other was off slightly on the perimeter causing blurriness when I scanned the room or walked. I let them know immediately. They asked that I send them a copy of the perscription and I did. They agreed it was entered correctly but in order to get a refund I had to go to my eye doctor to test the glasses and prove one lens was wrong. If I was going to have to go to my eye doctor for glasses I would have bought them at his glasses shop. I was skeptical about ordering perscription glasses online and unfortunately they met that skepticism with poor service. At the end on the day, I will be ordering a pair of glasses through a local place and I doubt I will ever see the money I spent at this place. Shame on me for not reading more reviews before ordering.

This company has been the worst service I have ever ordered from. It has been over 2 weeks and my order has not been shipped. When I call customer the best answer they can give is that they are waiting for my glasses to arrive to their office, then be shipped to me. It sounds as if I am calling someone's home. The manager was completely apathetic. I was told to cancel an order that had not been shipped to me would charge at % restocking fee..for an item that has been been completed or shipped. The dates on when I should expect my glasses continues to move further out by business days each time I call. The absolute worst company to buy from

I have purchased three pairs of prescription reading glasses from glassesshop.com and have been pleased with the styles and prescriptions each time. There are always good discount codes available. On my latest purchase I ussd code FRAME50 for half price frames.

A very bad experience with them. I waited one month to get finally a wrong prescription eyglasses because they didn't tell me they couldn't process my left eye parameters but they tried to sell it anyway. So I had to give it back cause useless and pay for the return shipping. One star is enough
