Waited almost 2months to recieve order- needed my glasses sooner, so when 17days had lapsed and I still hadn’t recieved a tracking number even for the shipment- I asked to cancel the order entirely and for full refund. their poor customer service solution was to credit back 4.95- otherwise I would only receive 50% of my money back for something that hadn’t even been shipped to me yet, citing “restocking charges”. Unbelievable. My advice to Canadian customers? Steer clear of this site. Clearly and other Canadian sites I have ordered from in the past have had my glasses at my door in 7days time. If you are going to order from these guys, might as well order from China. The wait time for shipping is comparable.

This was the first time buying glasses on line and GlassesShop did not disappoint me. My glasses fit perfectly and came on a timely fashion. Will definitely order another pair soon.

This truly is a terrible company. Probably the worst customer service I have had in twenty years. They claim to be in the US, but the very poor ESL grammar that appears in their email messages would indicate otherwise. This is a low-budget offshore scam operation. They stole money from me, then lied to my credit card company when I tried to get a refund. AVOID this company! Try any other company instead. I had good experiences with Zenni, Eyebuydirect, and GlassesUSA. JUST SAY NO TO GLASSESSHOP. Anyone can buy frames from a distributor and then find a lab to grind lenses that they can sell online. These guys have poor quality, terrible customer service, and unethical business practices. Check with the BBB / Better Business Bureau and you will see that they have an F rating. Also notice that all of the positive reviews about this company are written using the same words and writing style. Obviously written by the same person using a bunch of different fictitious aliases. All fake reviews from someone who works for this unethical company.

Ridiculous waiting time - long shipping time and waiting time - 12 business days before the item was shipped after it passed quality control. I'd estimate without shipping delays, 15 business days delivered from the time of order. Pros ✔ Cheap prices ✔ good quality ✔ local customer service is very good, but all communication otherwise is in China Cons ✘ Poor communication - customer support/warehouse is in China so the time zone so when we are sleeping, they are awake and etc. ✘ ridiculously long shipping time and waiting time - 12 business days before the item was shipped after it passed quality control. Another 7-20 business days before I receive the glasses according to customer service. *update* Turns out, the package was circling Canada because part of the postal code was missing. I have no idea how it even got delivered. I was offered a refund if I did not get the package in 20 business days. I just had to wait and call them back. The package came. I think it was because someone at Canada Post went above and beyond and figured it out.

Very bad. Zero stars. Ordered 2 pairs of glasses on 11/26/2017. Received confirmation of order on 11/282017. On Dec. 8 I received a call that there was an error on my prescription. Gave corrected info, requested expedited shipping. Was told that Glassesshop would ship. Called several times for updates on shipping, left message, NO CALLBACK. Called today and rep said they had emailed me about payment for shipping. I have no record of email. Rep said that it probably went to spam folder. Asked for manager (Michelle Paul), who was glib, rude and insisted they had called me and left voicemail several times. Asked for full refund, and name of her boss. Apparently she reports directly to company owner who is in China and can't be reached by mere mortals. She said she would "request" a refund. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I ordered a pair of "Rory Rectangle" frames that come with a magnetic clip-on shade attachment. When I got my glasses the clip on attachment was very difficult to see through, blurry and opaque. Obviously there was no quality control on these before they were shipped out. How much trouble would it have been for somebody to just look through the attachments when they stuck them into the box? I dunno who or where is fabricating the glasses for this site, but it's obvious they take no pride in the quality of the work they are doing. You could hardly see a thing through the attachments, the opacity on those things made them unusable. There was also a visible red line running across the yellow attachment. I contacted the company in order to get an exchange for another pair of inserts and they told me they didn't carry that item anymore, and yet, it is still for sale on their site. I asked them if instead they could give me a refund, because I wanted glasses with a sunglasses attachment and they would not because the glasses part was perfectly fine. I asked if they would accept the shipping cost on an exchange because I received bad merchandise and they would not. They offered a refund of some pathetically small amount of like 1.3%. After some haggling I got them to refund the difference between this pair and a pair that came with no attachments, something like, 6 dollars. I go to post a review on the Rory Rectangle frames so that nobody else will get snookered and it never shows up. If you look at the reviews they are all 5/5. I don't think they are writing them all themselves, but I do think that that approve what reviews get posted and are cherry picking only good ones, thereby skewing away from an "honest" feedback system that could actually help customers make informed decisions. The glasses themselves seemed fine for the price, but they were the first pair of glasses I ever owned that shattered the first time they fell. They fell from the edge of the bed, to the floor, a distance of about 1.5 feet, and chipped, with a crack up the middle. Lord knows how many times I dropped my other glasses from Lenscrafters or the Walmart Vision Center and they never broke. I'm not sure if that was a fluke, or due to poor quality in terms of materials or workmanship. I am writing this review because I am going to try the site again, and I hope to have a better experience this time, so that I might write a better review. They have deals that are frankly, hard to ignore, but if the next pair of glasses I get turns out the same, I'm just going to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge because I have 0 faith in the customer service department at Glassesshop.com to actually want to do the right thing. I am willing to give them another shot though, because I feel that anybody deserves at least that much. Show me what you've got Glassesshop.com. Don't let me down again.

Horrible customer service they sent me the wrong glasses and said it was my problem and I had to reorder they were nasty to me on the phone worst customer service ever - the mananger Bridget was extremely unprofessional
