I used Glacier Pure when I owned a home in NY. I moved to Florida 2 years ago into an apartment. The apartment has a GE fridge with a water filter that includes a computer chip. It took me one purchase of a GE filter to remember Glacier Pure as an alternative so I ordered a 3 pack. I couldn't be happier. It is a quality product, fits and works perfectly, water and ice taste clean and pure, and the price is great. Thanks Glacier Pure.

First and foremost was that I had an option to purchase this water filter not from GE but from another supplier which was the same replacement as the one that I was using
The price was excellent and the shipping was great
And it worked great with the chip
If I had known that GE made a special filter for the fridge it would have made a difference in the purchase of it
A little research and found a replacement one for a lot less
The installation was very easy and it worked to shut off the annoying light
We will definitely buy more

Tastes great but not quite perfect
I purchased a set of water filters for my GE Profile refrigerator, which features an internal autofill water pitcher. The coconut shell carbon block does an excellent job of filtering out the chlorine taste of our tap water here in Idaho. My only quibble is that the compartment door for the filter, located in the refrigerator door, protrudes out a tiny bit due to the circumference of the Glacier Fresh filter being slightly larger than that of the OEM GE water filter. Fortunately, the bottles and jars stored in the door hide the bulge. Otherwise, my OCD would have me searching for a better replacement right away.
Review update 7/1/2025: Glacier Fresh contacted me about the fitment of their water filter and sent me their latest revision, which is slightly thinner. Now the filter cover panel closes without any issues. Still not 100% perfect because 1 of the 3 filters shipped to me had a chip error that my refrigerator detected immediately after installation. The good news is that the company's customer service team responded quickly to the problem.
