I set up a fund for my fiance on GiveForward after he was involved in a very serious accident and had a ton of medical bills. It was easy to set up and stress free, I actually did it from the hospital. I also loved that I could post updates and send thank yous directly from their system. They were the second best rates I found but their system was definitely my first pick.

I had a great experience with give forward. Anytime i had any questions they were very helpful and got back to me as soon as they could. This website helped my family out alot being able to raise money online.

Would suggest a little tutorial, steps 1,2,3. Toughest part is viewing latest list of donors and their comments to share with the recipient. Overall good experience and great tool to raise needed funds.

It was slightly nerve wracking getting the initial deposits set up. Especially when it's done through another site, wepay. Patience never was my strong suit. But once everything got set up, it worked wonderfully. My advice is have patience during the set up. These things don't happen so fast as they would for an insurance companies auto-payment.

I can't thank giveforward enough for their platform I was able to raise over $20,000 to help my niece the only slight downside is the percentage of each donation that gets paid to the website for fees. After collecting over 20,000 dollars in donations giveforward end up making over $2000 that could have been added to the total raised. Aside from a slightly high donation fee I was extremely happy with the platform and the layout of everything on the website. Very easy to use system and simple to set uo and maintain. They only lost 1 start with me bacause i feel the fees are a little too high but everything else with this company is amazing.

My younger brother committed suicide earlier this year, and a lot of people were offering condolences and asking how they could help. I figured they'd feel better if they were able to contribute to funeral costs, so did a quick web search for fundraisers and GiveForward came up. It was easy to set up the fundraiser and share information about it via social networking sites. Not only did my family's friends contribute, but friends of friends also contributed out of sympathy for our mutual friends' loss. We nearly met our goal, and the funeral expenses were completely covered by the generous donors. The only trouble anyone had--and I think it was 1 out of about 100 people--was with the small fee (taken from the fundraiser and not charged to the family) for maintaining the services offered by the site.

It let me to do for my friend (and her family during the expensive, uncertain times following a medical crisis) what I couldn't from 1500 miles away - help. They needed care givers, and I couldn't be there to physically help, but they could hire someone. I'm glad that this site was available for me to put together quickly and easily. We reached our goal, and then some!
