Many emails later finally someone nice enough to help and delivery gets messed up .I requested the that the receipt would be notified before delivery to make sure that someone was home and nope they tried to deliver, no one home left a note and now they are supposed to pick it up 90 minutes away 3 days later by than they can take some of the gift and throw it away . Hello Michelle,
At that time, during the Christmas season, and as indicated in the disclaimers on our website, we were unable to guarantee a specific delivery date and could only offer a delivery date range. This information was publicly available, and we understood that customers accepted these limitations during that particular time of year.
Although the order took longer to process due to the significantly higher volume of orders during that period, we were ultimately able to confirm that the delivery had been completed successfully and well received by the recipient. We informed you accordingly.
Nevertheless, we took responsibility for the inconvenience caused, extended our apologies to the recipient, and processed a partial refund as monetary compensation. We understood that this was the least we could do under the circumstances.
Warm regards,
GBO Team

BEWARE! DON'T RISK IT!
I bought 2 gift hampers to Germany as a birthday surprise for delivery Jun 5th and requested a pic to see the hampers.
On Jun 5th I got an email stating the gift was delivered, but no pic. I asked about the pic, and they stated it was not possible in Germany. Who doesn't have a phone to take pics in 2023? They assured me however that the gift was of highest quality, and was delivered to a pick up point designated by my friend as he wasn't home. They included a tracking link.
I noticed on the link it showed delivery to the pick up on Jun 2nd and stated ONE piece.
I didn't hear from my friend on Jun 5th, but on Jun 6th he received an email stating to collect the gift at a collection point as he wasn't home Jun 5th. They never went to his home...the tracking showed it was delivered directly to the collection store Jun 2nd. They were lying and orchestrating everything as if he missed the delivery.
I asked my friend to send me a pic. It was only ONE package containing 2 cheap packs of biscuits, one bar of lindt chocolate, and one pack of nuts. I paid over $300 for TWO separate gifts containing gourmet teas, coffee, jams, several cookies, chocolates, a mug and other stuff. They are ABSOLUTE FRAUDS!!
I demanded a refund as I had proof of photos, and tracking link they sent. I was refunded immediately after sending a furious email with threat to involve authorities.
Getting the refund however does not bring back or rectify the lost experience!! In fact, they deliberately and completely ignored his birthday Jun 5th!! DON'T RISK IT IS MY ADVICE.

Dear JM,
We apologize for not being able to provide an experience according to our standards.
Evidently, it saddens us that after a couple of experiences with our company, you don't trust our services anymore which is totally something understandable.
We just would like to mention that by no means, during all the stages of the gifting process, information was provided to you in a way to orchester a lie.
In regard to the picture, when this was initially requested, we actually were honest and informed you that this could not be guaranteed. At that time, we were not aware that this would significantly be a must rather than just a request.
On the other hand, as soon as we learned about the final outcome of the delivery, we indeed understood that a refund would be the least we could do and then, we processed it accordingly right away.
In the end, even though the refund was processed, our actions do not end just there, as we have the responsibility to look further into the processes and improve this for the future.
We finally verified that the shipping company was highly involved in the delivery result; nevertheless, we do understand this does not change the experience you and your recipient had and we totally agree with you on this point.
We extend our apologies once again for the inconvenience caused.

What a rip off!!!
What a rip off!!!!!!!!!! Had the service for Tallinn Estonia, for a beer package.
I looked into it after my wife said the price and was floored.
6 x bottles of a.le coq double stout (about 15 eur total)
100 g parmigiano reggiano (4 eur at the rimi for the exact brand!!!!!)
1 rose (a few eur maybe)
I totally expect there to be an upcharge when we receive things like this, but this horrible. My wife spent 150 USD+ for what is maybe (and I think I'm over guessing) 25 eur worth of items.
Plus their communication was pretty bad and only got good when my wife threatened to cancel. I wish she had, and just sent a bolt order.
This is beyond ridiculous and strongly advise staying far away from them. If you look at the price of the items and ask the recipient the price, you will understand why.

Scam artists - don't even bother buying from here.
Ordered a Chinese New Year gift before Chinese New Year. The gifts were scheduled for delivery before CNY. This was important for my business relationship.
On the DAY of delivery, they email me to say delivery is delayed until after Chinese New Year.
They then email me after Chinese New Year to say it's delayed again with no estimated date, just 'we'll be in touch'.
3-4 weeks later, no contact, no delivery and my business relationship didn't foster from this gift like it was meant to.
$500 wasted on these con artists. Seriously, don't even bother, you'll regret it.

Dear Dylan,
Please, allow us to leave a few comments in regards to your review.
Due to the high volume of orders to be delivered in China for the Chinese New Year the local courier in charge was unable to proceed with the delivery on the requested date even though the order was processed in a timely manner initially.
As soon as we received that information, we contacted you and explained the situation. To fix it, we issued a partial refund and as per your consent and agreement, the delivery was planned to take place on a later date, once the holiday's closure is over.
As we cared for your business relationship, additionally, we called your recipient who happily received the information of an upcoming gift.
Unfortunately, due to the Covid outbreak in some regions in China, the delivery had to be postponed. To our regret, a force major situation we do not have control over.
As per your consent, the delivery took finally place at the earliest date available. We then decided to prepare an additional gift to your recipient at our cost, who confirmed to us over the phone her gladness for receiving such appreciation from your side.
Regardless, Dylan, please once again accept our apologies for the delivery delay.
Final: Received an apology and a full refund w store cr $30
Response: My fiance has received a response from Waterbridge providing us information on where to attain the manufacturing dates, they are determined by the lot#. They've stated all their products have a shelf-life of 12 months and based on the 3 products we have received, all 3 were passed the shelf-life.
The taste of the products are awful, the biscuits are stale, the milk chocolate is rancid and the milk fillings in the products are sour, distinctively not fresh. I don't understand why lot# weren't explained to determine shelf-life, it would have saved our time to attain the information. It is not what I deserve for the price I have paid for the packages, the chocolates can be even purchased at my fiance's local Dollar store so we were shocked to receive such "gourmet" chocolates at that high price let alone already be past the shelf-life.
I received your email about retracting your refund of the $50USD in return for replacing my gift with another gift to be sent to my fiancé and she stated she doesn't want another replacement gift and we would like a full refund of the package since 50% of it is past the self-life, they are not gourmet as advertised, mark-up is way too high let alone all the hassle we've been through with your services. Every response I've received lacked accountability and are calculated. I will email you photographic proof of the lot#.
UPDATE: I emailed Waterbridge to attain the expiry dates. They refunded the delivery of $25 and are willing to refund the chocolate that had alcohol in it along with the 25% of the profit they make from purchases - totaling $50USD only on the condition if I delete my Trustpilot review. They will only make a full refund if the products are all returned back to them unopened and consumed which they know is not possible since they've read my Trustpilot review stating they've been partially consumed. I do not agree to those terms since I believe I deserve the $50USD to be refunded without having to delete my Trustpilot review and I am waiting to hear back from Waterbridge. I still stand on my request of having a full refund be provided.
**Updated correct CAD amount conversion since I converted it from Saudi Riyal, from $242 CAD to $227 CAD, changing the markup amount.**

UPDATE: Got a response that the products are registered copyright on those dates (2016, 2017 & 2018), which does not mean they are expired even though they tasted awful and rotten (my fiance taste tested & still have them sitting on the side). They requested the products be shipped back to them to inspect without stating they would pay the shipping fees and my request will be received by the management team. I can't believe the products need to be physically inspected even though I have given photographic proof. Not impressed at all, avoid at all costs!

I spoke with a representative before I made my order, I was told due to busy holiday hours, it would be best to have the order delivered on Feb 12 to meet Valentine's day. I also asked if there were any alcohol in the chocolates and I was assured there aren't any.
My order missed Valentine's day and was 7 days late, my fiance and I contacted customer service each day and were given different reasons for the delay, first, they gave me and my fiance different courier information, then they said a courier wasn't placed and forgotten, on the 18th, they stated FedEx tried to delivery on the 12th and to wait for the order today and it's not their fault on their end. My fiance did receive the gift on the 18th.
She opened the gift and 3 of the large proportion of products were EXPIRED! One box was made in 2016, the other is in 2017, and the last one in 2018 - products from the company Waterbridge. The rest of the goods were small, the only salvageable was the Lindor Amour Heart Milk edition 202g. On top of that, the chocolates have alcohol in them. I paid $227 CAD on the gift and the goods cost $40! That's a 465.5% mark-up on basic goods that aren't even gourmet as stated on their website. I'm hugely disappointed after all the wait and only 50% of it my finance can enjoy. $20 of goods for $227 of a price. I would like a refund on the gift that I bought, half the gift was expired and the value of the gift came to $20 - a complete ripoff. I have emailed customer support with a photo of the expired goods, hopefully, they respond back with my request for a full refund.

Dear Aziz,
Thank you for providing your feedback! We appreciate your attention to detail and the given opportunity to review our level of service.
Please allow us to leave a few comments in regards to your review.
First off, we are glad the issue with the copyright is clarified: we always check the best before dates of all our products and we were sure the chocolates we included are not expired. I am sorry the recipient did not like the taste however, this is not something we can predict as tastes differ and this is the one and only complaint for those chocolates we received so far.
We also are glad to see you agreed to amend your feedback here as we asked you in our email correspondence since we believe any review should not only reflect a person's feelings after receiving some service but also the actual facts of cooperation with a company. We indeed apologized for the delay with the delivery and refunded the shipping fee you paid, even though we have shipped the order on time as we can see from tracking:
https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/?trknbr=772879780581&trkqual=12021~772879780581~FDEG
The delay was on the courier company's end and, regretfully, with COVID-19, severe weather conditions and the increased amount of parcels during the major holidays such as St. Valentine's Day and the like, the delays are our "new normal" that we have to acknowledge and adapt to. Regardless, please once again accept our apologies that it was your order this time that was delayed.
Getting back to the situation with chocolates, as we informed you over the email, we are eager to fix this for your recipient and send her some more quality chocolates of famous brands so she could enjoy the gift finally.
We are looking forward to getting your response here or over email. Aziz, we would be happy to resolve this for you should you decide to cooperate.
Thank you!

This was the biggest rip off ever
This was the biggest rip off ever. I paid $254 for a box of "gourmet' products to be sent to someone special in Saudi Arabia. What they got was cheese in a jar, cheap rubbery meat, and over all I'd say $10 worth of products. Don't waste your money.
Response from Gift Baskets OverseasDec 23, 2020
Hi Mercia,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
As agreed we have issued a partial refund for this order. We hope the situation is fixed now and we sincerely apologize once again for the inconveniences caused.
Best regards,

More like tray of food
I bought a£125 winter breakfast in bed hamper there was not much food in it for the money and 50 percent of the food was not traditional breakfast food
Probably only worth £70
Do not use this company they have a 50 percent mark up on all their baskets you will be able to find all their baskets online at other websites for 2 thirds of the price on their website their customer service is reasonable long wait for live chat yes they deliver on time but that is thanks to the carrier not gift baskets overseas
Response from Gift Baskets OverseasOct 12, 2020
Vicky, thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us! You are absolutely right when saying that the delivered gift does not cost the full amount paid for the order. Naturally, the price paid for each gift includes our profit, gift packaging, delivery costs, transaction and conversion fees, taxes, communication expenses.
