Disappointed with Zealthy’s Service Despite Initial Promise
At first, Zealthy seemed like a convenient option. I didn’t use the coaching or additional supports, I subscribed purely to access affordable medication. Initially, communication felt smooth: any message I sent through the app was answered within a few hours, and getting started was fairly easy. The first hiccup came when I tried to request a refill through my pharmacy, not realizing that Zealthy requires refill requests to go through their platform. This misstep caused a delay, but once I learned the correct process, I was able to get my first refill without major issues. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. As I neared the end of my initial 3-month subscription, I had to renew early in order to remain eligible for a refill. Zealthy claims this is so they can “monitor your progress,” but no one has ever reached out to me or checked in, so I question what kind of monitoring is actually happening. It seems more like a way to keep customers paying while a doctor you’ve never met writes your prescription. When I renewed for another 3 months, I was charged twice. It took two full weeks, and relentless effort on my part, to get the duplicate charge refunded. I called over 10 times, left multiple voicemails, sent several emails, and messaged through the app at least a dozen times. Most of those attempts were ignored. My average estimated wait time of 4–8 minutes regularly stretched to over an hour before the call disconnected or sent me to voicemail. Ultimately, I only ever spoke to one person by phone and received a couple of app responses. Zealthy claims to be customer service–driven, but that was not my experience. The medication (Zepound) works, and that’s the only reason I haven’t canceled yet. But the delays in getting prescriptions filled, despite following all instructions and planning ahead, have been beyond frustrating. I've now fallen behind on my treatment plan three times because of prescription delays. My pharmacy consistently reaches out to the prescribing doctor and hears nothing back. Meanwhile, Zealthy tells me everything is “good to go,” only for the prescription to still be missing when I try to pick it up. If I hadn’t already paid for another 3 months, I would not continue with Zealthy. While the product works, the platform is unreliable, the customer support is nearly nonexistent, and the overall experience has been far from stellar. I cannot in good faith recommend Zealthy to others.
