Warning: Coordination Failure between GetLabs & LabCorp
While the mobile technician was professional and the draw itself was seamless, the administrative backend between LabCorp and GetLabs is a "black hole." Despite providing my insurance to both parties, my info vanished despite providing it to both companies at the time of registration. More concerningly, my lab appointment and order never appeared in the LabCorp portal, despite the initial request to schedule labs from LabCorp. How ironic. By law, patients must have access to results at the same time as their physician, yet I have no results from LabCorp - it's like I never had labs done. Both companies have been finger-pointing each other rather than solving the issue. This partnership lacks basic coordination and ignores the customer experience. I will not be using GetLabs again. If you value your time, transparency and billing accuracy, stay away from this "partnership". I won't be paying for "black hole" service. To be clear GetLabs asked for insurance to be uploaded and states they will provide it to LabCorp. Uploading it to both LabCorp and GetLabs was done. Both entities are a black hole in this regard. While I appreciate GetLabs reply, your agent specifically told me she saw my insurance in your system but for some reason she was unable to open it, and submitted a ticket to IT. The reality is the partner between GetLabs and Labcorp needs improvement. I’ve already reached out to GetLabs and accountability was avoided and issue not resolved. I made you aware that I would be writing a 1-start review and your response was nonchalant.
Response from GetlabsFeb 23, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate you recognizing the professionalism of the technician and the quality of the draw. For patient privacy and data protection, Getlabs does not have access to your insurance details or lab results. The testing laboratory, in this case LabCorp, is responsible for processing insurance, managing billing, and releasing results through their patient portal. If your insurance information needs to be updated, a bill needs review, or results are not visible in your portal, the lab can resolve these items directly on their end and provide the most up to date information. They control the reporting systems and billing process tied to the order. If anything is confirmed missing or requires a redraw, we are always happy to coordinate that promptly. Our goal is to ensure only necessary services are repeated and that everything is handled correctly. If you would like assistance reconnecting with the lab or coordinating next steps, please reach out to our support team. We are here to help.
