GetlabsReviews of getlabs.com

This Company makes Theranos look successful.

GetLabs is the WORST! i am a kidney transplant patient and we live and die by the lab results. This mobile labs LOST my order and there is NO ONE to call since they do not have a live customer number. Instead, Getlabs "text" back when they get around to it and rarely email back anything. I reached out by all possible methods to inquire about my labs whereabouts. I begged them, to please call me to help me locating my labs. The reply was "we will investigate and get back to you in 3 business days"? what kind of business doesn't have a customer service phone number ? this is a not the type of business that can wait 3 days for a reply! It’s a mobile blood drawing service! DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY, use another mobile lab. You won’t get any help from Getlabs if something goes wrong! If you need labs timely and definitively, select any other mobile service. Not this one.

Wish I could leave ZERO stars. I had a specific 8am-10am window scheduled, and I was fasting. At 9:40am the phlebotomist called to tell me she was in another city far away, and had been assigned another patient to meet with, and maybe she would be able to get to me by 11am. Unacceptable, as I was told my blood needed to be drawn by 10am, on the third day of my menstrual cycle. I had to get on with my work day and meet with my own patients from 11am onward. HORRIBLE service! Getlabs obviously does not care about the patient's time or the massive inconvenience their poor planning and lack of consideration has caused me. I will never work with them again, and neither should any other company. I'm also leaving the service that contracted with Getlabs because this poor experience is also a reflection upon them as well. Avoid this company at all costs.

Moved my appointment two days in a row at the last minute. No apology, just rescheduled at a time that was convenient for them. I ended up cancelling and going to another lab.

Update as of 6/18/24 - I have not received my refund of $99 to my HSA card, I had to pay for the appointment in advance. So it has been over a month (since 5/10/24), and I’m still waiting for my refund. I wish I read these reviews before I booked a visit. I had a window of 7am-9 am, received a text in the morning that the ETA of my specialist was 7:58 am. I waited until 9 or so, then started messaging for help on the GetLabs site. You can request a text, email, or call back. I did all three with no response until 12:02 pm that said via text “the phlebotomist arrived and did not get in touch with you. The appointment was canceled and you are welcome to book a new appointment online at getlabs.com.” So I waited for 4 hours, fasting, for a no show. And now I won’t have my labs done in time for my MD appt next week.

They will reschedule your appointment multiple times. Their customer service is rude. They use the wrong lab containers which results in labs having to be redone. Don’t use!

I suspected these guys were not legit because there is literally NO way to contact them except they "respond" via email or text. But since Labcorp has conveniently "temporarily" closed many of their Orlando labs, this now pops up on the screen as an alternative (funny coincidence). So for $99 they are supposed to come take your bloodwork at home. Good luck. My lab tech never showed, but was kind enough to call 15 minutes after the END of the 2 hour window to ask I wanted to reschedule. I told him no just issue me a refund. I am not optimistic about getting it given what I have already experienced.

I am a physician and would never recommend this company to anyone. GetLabs hires unprofessional people. The phlebotomist that was scheduled to do my blood draw came to my home and refused to speak to me. I had to ask her to leave and canceled my service due to her such appalling and unprofessional behavior. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company with no success or response. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau. Please use another company as I have for in home lab service.
