Our collars are designed to be worn on their own and not attached to existing collars. Our pendants however can be attached to all normal dog collars. As for the scent, our collars are made with natural essential oils like citronella, which can be strong at first. Some dogs may be more sensitive to the smell, and in those cases, we recommend airing the collar out for a few days before putting it on your pet. This can significantly reduce the intensity of the scent and make it more comfortable for your dog. Hello Jaime, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to look closely at the ingredients—we truly appreciate pet owners like you who care deeply about their dog’s safety. We want to clarify that while camphor can be toxic in large amounts or if ingested, the very small, carefully controlled amount used in our collar is well within the safety limits established for topical use in dogs. Our collars are designed to release ingredients gradually and are tested for both safety and effectiveness. When used as directed—worn externally and not ingested—they are safe for dogs.
