Too many side effects unfortunately. I’m 57 and am pretty much done with hot flashes until I stated taking Contrave. They were so bad I perspired through my clothes and soaked my linens at night. Plus I developed horrible headaches that wouldn’t subside with Advil, as well as nausea, plus many foods tasted weird. I really wish this medication would have been more tolerable. I didn’t even finish my first prescription and now have paid for a 2nd prescription which I haven’t even opened. I’m out $263, for trying a medication that needs more tweaking before it’s prescribed. ☹️

I'm still hungry. It doesn't lower my cravings for foods like 🎂🍕🌮🍧

Worked very well for the first 3 months but I think my body adjusted to the dosage and my hunger and cravings are back.

I took contrave for only two weeks due to the moods this medication made me expierence. The first week was bearable but the second week (when I upped my dosage), I was depressed and weepy all day long. I would just cry over nothing at all and want to sleep all day. A lot of people expierence insomnia based on other reviews but this medication made me sleep like a baby. In the two weeks I was on it, it did not curb my hunger one bit. Wasn’t worth it to me.

Everything went smoothly from ordering to when my contrave arrived. I’m very satisfied.

Helps curb my appetite for both food and alcohol. Still coping with some late nite cravings but I feel they’re not as strong as they were before taking Contrave. I followed the recommended start up doses and I’ve lost 38 lbs in 3 months. Losing about 2 lbs a week now with walking 8 to 10 miles a day. The real proof will be if I keep the weight off now and forever ! I’ve gone from a 42” waist to 38” Need to lose 40 more pounds now to reach my goal weight. My doctor said my over all health has improved and stopped taking Lipitor since my LDL numbers improved. Still using the Cpap machine but hoping I can get away from it at goal weight. No more acid reflux terrors in the middle of the night waking up gasping for breath. Feeling good now, hope I feel even better during the summer months ! No bad side effects that I can report here, visiting my doctor again in 3 months. Check back later !
