This process was so easy. The NP I spoke to answered all my questions and explained how to take Contrave the first month to slowly build up to 4 tablets a day. I was expecting my appetite to be greatly decreased at the end of the first month but it wasn’t and I was afraid it wasn’t working for me. I stuck with it and by the end of the second month my appetite and cravings were decreased and I slowly started losing weight. I’m starting to add in exercise now. My Contrave arrived on January 18, 2021. The next day I began taking the medication. I followed the instructions. I weighed 160lb at 5'1". So my BMI was >30, so in the first week, I lost 5lbs. I excised, stopped drinking wine and beer, ate "clean" some sugar treats every now, and then. But the Contrave did not have me feeling hungry as of today; I am on my second bottle.
