German with LauraReviews of germanwithlaura.com

This course is presented by a very personable Laura in palatable video segments with short quizzes, and recaps. The methodology is key. Laura teaches the broad center of the language, with concepts aimed at foundational building blocks and gaining confidence. This approach acknowledges learning a language is about comfortability, confidence, and a process for people of all ages. For me, it is an unfolding, with many small revelatory moments. Don't be afraid to start and, as important, enjoy the process that quickly builds a usable foothold.

Laura is the best online tutor available. Her method of instruction is unique and refreshing. She is obviously enthusiastic in the videos and her and her staff are very responsive to questions throughout the learning process. Her course provides complete instruction to the German language and grammar. She explains and provides the tools to apply when learning German. You cannot go wrong with downloading her course. Thank you so much Laura!!

This is absolutely the way to start when learning German. As an English major, seeing the grammar breakdown and how it is different than English grammar, helped me to look at German without the "English lens" that trips up German learners. I highly recommend this program.

I love Laura's course! It is so helpful to have German grammar thoroughly explained. Laura is so enthusiastic and her videos actually feel like you are on a conference call and she is teaching you live! Highly recommended!

Laura's German Foundations course takes an adult approach to learning German, instead of the usual brute force approach of other language apps. Rather than repeat the same sentences over and over, only to forget them by the next lesson, this course groups concepts together which makes retention easier.

Unlocking German Grammar was a great course - it made me realize how to break down grammar basics into manageable, logical pieces. I have been tried other methods (Rocket German, Duolingo, Mango) with variable amounts of grammar review, but none were as comprehensive and helpful as German with Laura. Highly, HIGHLY recommend if you are serious about advancing to the next level in German!

I would strongly recommend the course for all beginners. The course was very enjoyable and Laura's presentation style is excellent and held my attention all the time. I wanted to learn to speak German as I visit quite often but didn't really know were to start and so searched YouTube for video's and eventually found Laura's free Unlocking German grammar course and decided to try it out. It was an eye opener and I realised I needed to understand the logic and complexities of German grammar before starting to learn vocabulary and so decided to purchase the German Foundation course. It took me about 3 weeks to complete the course, studying for 2 to 3 hours a day. I did have to redo several of the modules before it all sank in! I feel it was good value for money and will do her follow up course when it comes out.

I have found Laura's German Foundations online course invaluable. I feel I'm getting a really concise and clear idea how German grammar works. I have been using other online learning tools (Duolingo, Coffee Break German etc), but really appreciate Laura's clear explanations of how the German language fits together. I highly recommend it!
