God awful experience. This company is an absolute nightmare. I had botched repairs down on my vehicle by one of their dealerships service centers. I brought my vehicle back FIVE TIMES and every single time was given my car back with the initial issue. My engine reduced power light was on, and was given back to me each time with it on.i went for a diagnosis and repair to fix that 1 exact problem. I was told it was the turbo, paid thousands out of pocket on repair and rental for over a year now. Turbo didn’t do anything to fix it. Brought it back another FOUR TIMES and they just repaired random things telling me each time it was the solution . Decided to go get a second opinion and ANOTHER GMC SERVICE CENTER LOCATION!!! Was told by Service rep the repairs were all incorrectly done, used parts, andone was never even done at all. That service rep was then fired days later…. They held my car for another month after. Corporate changed the diagnosis to avoid any responsibility. I’m being denied a corrected repair, and a refund. This is company is so corrupt steer clear of ever buying or getting repairs done from them. I AM STILL PAYING AND IN A RENTAL!!!! Currently dealing with the attorney general and a private attorney to take this matter to court.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR REPAIRS!!! that’s what a loyal GM customer gets on a defective 2023 Silverado that has been repaired multiple times from engine and transmission and still continuing with failures. If you qualify for a lemon law attorney just go with them because GM doesn’t care about you at all. They dragged my case for almost 6 months just to tell me GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR REPAIRS!!!!

I purchased a Cadillac Lyriq in the 20 of March 2026. On April 6th, and involved in an accident at approximately 40 km/h. Prior to the accident, the vehicle had already been showing multiple error messages on the same day. The main issue is that the car failed to brake properly despite my attempt to stop, and this directly contributed to the accident. Additionally, the airbags did not deploy, which is extremely concerning. was lucky that speed was relatively low—otherwise, this situation could have resulted in serious injury or even death. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. What makes this situation even worse is the extremely poor customer service from Cadillac and General Motors. After the accident, I was told that the vehicle would be inspected. However, after waiting for about a month, I was simply told that the issue was my fault, without a proper or transparent explanation. The dealership where I purchased the vehicle in Turin has also been completely unhelpful. As soon as the car was sold, their support dropped to an unacceptable level. For over a month, while my car has been written off, they have not responded to me or to my insurance company Meanwhile, I am still making payments for a vehicle that I no longer have. I am extremely disappointed and upset—not only because of the safety failure of the vehicle, but also because of the lack of responsibility and support from the company. Cadillac and GM have failed to properly support their customer in a serious and potentially life-threatening situation.

I have bought GM my whole life. This last truck is probably the last one I’ll buy it. 70,000 miles still under warranty. Your truck was acting funny took it in. They told me the transmission valve box was bad. My truck has been in the repair shop for two months now they will not give me an answer when this will be repaired, they say GM is not helping them out at all with this part. It could be in there another two months this is coming from gm dealership. Ridiculous hell they could’ve built me a new truck by now.

I purchased a brand new 2025 Chevy Tahoe 3.0l Duramax diesel and it only has 8k miles on it and it is now sitting in the dealership with a blown motor. It took the dealership 2 weeks to finally diagnose it after speaking with GM numerous times and not once did they mention the bulletin they have about the crank shaft problems. The crank shaft is way out of range and they found metal shavings in my oil which in turn now I need a new motor on my brand new car. They will not give me a loaner car. They tell me I have to pay for it up front and only thru Hertz and my allowance is $44 per day, oh yea and they told me they MAY reimburse me at the end. We all know what size car I am going to get for $44 a day nothing equal to what my brand new car. I traded in my 2023 Chevy Tahoe because of the recall on the 6.2 motors and this is the thanks I get. How many more vehicles is GM going to build like shit and have to recall them. Then they tell me that it will show up on my carfax report. Does not sound fair to me! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT EVER AGAIN AND I INTEND TO DRIVE AROUND WITH A SIGN ON MY BORROWED CAR AND POST ONE AT MY PLACE OF BUSINESS THAT GETS A LOT OF TRAFFIC. GM SUCKS AND I WILL USE ANY ASPECT THAT I CAN TO MAKE SURE NO ONE EVER BUYS A GM PRODUCT. PS. I WILL ALSO PLASTER ALONG THE BACK OF MY 45 FOOT CAMPER BEFORE I LEAVE FOR MY TRIP OUT WEST.

I purchased a 2018 Buick Encore new from a local dealership, Surgenor in Ottawa. The vehicle has had major electrical, power train, and turbocharger issues, along with too many other repairs to mention in this forum. By 160,000km the vehicle needs a complete rear differential with the part alone costing $5,011 plus labour, and a new turbocharger, and is also having alternator issues. The vehicle has also needed 3 control arms to be replaced, a new lift, and numerous oil leaks repaired. Further to the continual issues, the GM dealership along with GM Experience Canada failed miserably by forgetting to order a major part while covered under warranty (cluster for electrical) causing not only my warranty to expire, but also contributed to many of these ongoing issues. So many other repairs have been completed by the GM dealership along with other mechanics, many of which still persist to this day. We have made numerous attempts to seek some form of goodwill assistance from GM and the dealership in hopes of repairing these major parts which are absurdly priced, but sadly, GM does not stand behind their products and the dealerships have seemed incapable of adequate repairs wether paid out of pocket or covered by warranty. I feel the average consumer considers these to be lifetime parts which should reasonably last 250,000km or more with proper maintenance which this vehicle has always received. I strongly do not recommend buying GM products.

Chevy Colorado crap! We bought a brand new 2020 Chevy Colorado and then last Saturday, the engine blew when we were leaving from an evening out with friends. We had the truck towed to the nearest GM dealer, and on Tuesday morning, I received a call NO ONE wants to get! There was a catastrophic failure! Then was told it would be a $25000 fix. I called the GM Dealer to find out if they were going to do anything to help with the expense, and we were told no. I even called the Oshawa office in Ontario and again was told they would do nothing as far as any compensation. There was just over 100,000k on this vehicle! We were told that we were 100% responsible for the fix and they would not help because the warranty had expired! We always kept up with the maintenance and that was of no interest to them.

Late in my life September 2025 I was so happy to become a first time Cadillac owner by purchasing a 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Sports 2. But as of January 2026, we are regretting in a big way ever purchasing a Cadillac. We got a “High Voltage Battery Service” notification, both on the vehicle dashboard and within the Cadillac mobile application requiring service. Upon contacting our nearest Cadillac dealership, “Crestview Cadillac of West Covina,” we were informed that they were 11–18 weeks behind on EV service repairs and advised us to seek service elsewhere. Being redirected in this manner for a new, premium vehicle reflects poorly on GM/Cadillac’s service readiness and customer support infrastructure. We then contacted the next nearest Cadillac dealership “Cadillac of Pasadena,” who advised they had only one EV-certified technician, but nonetheless accepted the vehicle for service. The vehicle was dropped off on January 14, 2026. As of this posting January 28, 2026, we remain without our vehicle and have been informed that repairs may take several additional weeks due to ongoing coordination between the dealership and GM on the repairs needed. We have become aware the Escalade IQ high-voltage battery issue is widely known, and that GM/Cadillac has been aware of this condition for some time but have been providing slow, inconsistent service and a lack of timely resolution. This is concerning for a flagship vehicle marketed at a premium price point. At this point looks like it will be well over 30 days to get our vehicle service creating a significant financial and practical burden on our family. Basically, Cadillac’s EV service capability does not currently align with the expectations of a luxury brand. As first-time Cadillac owners, this experience reflects a level of quality, service preparedness, and post-sale support that falls well below reasonable expectations and has caused us to seriously regret our purchase
