Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to highly commend Ms. Vanessa Votypka, NP for delivering compassionate, empathetic, responsive, efficient, effective, courteous, and excellent patient-centered care to me. To quickly recap, she extended her deepest condolences to me in response to my letting her know that the funeral activities that I had to implement in memory of my beloved sister delayed my planned visit to Quest Diagnostics for my lab tests. Accordingly, I would like to highly commend her. My commendation is predicated upon my belief and conviction that her delivery of this exemplary care should be positively reinforced. General Medicine can positively reinforce the compassionate, empathetic, responsive, efficient, effective, and courteous patient-centered care that she delivered to me by using meaningful rewards to motivate her and other providers to frequently exhibit those desirable behaviors.
