I would only recommend these people if you have no other option. Maybe I was just an unlucky few, but it took over an hour to get a response from someone about medication complications. The Uvalde law enforcement had a faster response time and if that doesn't tell you all you need to know when it comes to your health then I don't know what will. Edit: The 15 minute response they're referring to when I originally asked had nothing to do with symptoms. I was told to tell them I'm having issues or to call emergency services. I still have the messages and they certainly won't be deleted after this blatant lie. I'm changing my review to 1 star.

Hi James, we're sorry to hear about this, and we want to clarify what actually happened on our end. When you let us know your medication didn't feel like it was working, a clinician responded within 15 minutes — with guidance on what to watch for if your symptoms got worse, and an explanation of how long that medication typically takes to take effect. We've also honored your request to stop hearing from us: your upcoming appointment has been canceled, and no charges were applied to your account. This isn't the experience we want anyone to have, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it.

I have a pituitary tumor and used General Medicine to have my case consulted with an endocrinologist as I am uninsured due to being on medical leave, making this the only affordable option. Even though I never spoke directly to the endocrinologist, they were responsible for giving orders on my care, including the medication I am taking to treat the tumor/issues associated with the tumor. I needed the name of the endocrinologist and they refused to provide it for me. I, just as every patient, have a RIGHT to know any doctor involved in my care, no matter how much or little they contributed. The endocrinologist has also been in contact with my neurosurgeon. Hiding their name is highly unprofessional and illegal. I will be getting the name from my neurosurgeon, but should not have to take that step. I have zero trust in this group after that. Why hide a name of a doctor who’s been involved with my case? Very concerning.

This place is a scam. Asked for blood pressure meds. I can not see my dr because I cant afford the no insurance payment. I cant qualify for the discounts they have so I came hear to bridge the gap between when I run out to when I get medical. Told all this to the dr. Even told them what happens if I discontinue the meds. (Not good) and get told " cant complete this for you thanks for understanding" and thats it visit ended. Take my money just to spit in my face. Don't wait your money find another way.

Hi Arianna, we're sorry the way that visit ended, with no real explanation after you'd already laid out what stopping your medication could mean for you, isn't how we want any patient to be treated. That's on us. Since then, we connected you with a different provider, and you've received your prescription. If anything about your care is still unresolved, please reach out to us directly at [email protected]

I was charged for a visit that never happened. I made an apt on 9/13 around 1pm and it said some will text me around 12pm. I waited an never received a message. When I looked at the account it said 12pm 9/13, however I didn’t make the appointment until after 12pm that day so I could not have a same day in the past.
Response from General MedicineSep 15, 2026
Hi Joel, thanks for sending over your appointment details. Here's what we found. Your visit was scheduled on 9/13 for the following day, 9/14. It was a chat visit, which runs on a 3 hour window and should have been completed by 12pm that day. We did run behind schedule, which is why the text you were expecting around 12pm on 9/14 never went out. That's on us, and we're sorry it left you unsure in the interim whether the visit would happened at all. Our records show that your visit was completed on 9/14, so the charge for it is accurate. If anything about the charge amount itself looks off once you review see this timeline, please let us know and we'll take a closer look.

Bad! I had booked an appointment and nobody should up. And when I call for support line it goes to voice mail. can't reschedule, all i needed was a prescription refill but I have too so much money to get that renewed just for a month. But apparently I can't even do that. very incompetent. $100 down the drain.
Response from General MedicineSep 9, 2026
Hi Abdul, we were sorry to hear the provider scheduled for your appointment didn't show up. As soon as we were notified, we rescheduled you for the soonest appointment available. You had your visit that day, received your care plan, and we sent your prescription to your pharmacy at 1:20pm that afternoon. If anything else comes up, please reach out to our support team directly so we can help right away.

Mind-bogglingly incompetent, repeatedly incompetent, Won't take responsibility for incompetence. Don't read messages, don't do as requested, don't respond to me or to referral doctors repeatedly seeking confirmation. Referred me to entities that are closed down or very far away. Won't connect me directly to the doctor to notify her about their non-stop repetative incompetence. After facing repeated unprofessional treatment, I called them incompetent jerks so they banned me from my doctor.

Clinician did not seem to listen to me or care about how I actually feel. Part of the issue may be that multiple clinicians were messaging me in chat within a short time frame, likely none of them really understood what was going on. It was not even clear if they were real people, may have been AI. Only went with them because I had no options and still regret it

We're sorry that you didn't feel heard. I've shared this information with our clinical team so they can look at how your case was handled. Please note that the clinicians who messaged you were real, licensed individuals.
