Gemsy.ioReviews of gemsy.io

I am testing Gemsy for a several weeks now and overall I really like it. I have a book in self-help niche and Gemsy works fine for me. I can promote not only ebook version but my print books too. Sometimes I’m receiving a good suggestions from their private feedback feature. Their plans are very reasonably priced. Definitely worth it, in my opinion.

I am a self-published author and I’ve previously struggled with a book promotion. Gemsy helps me to solve this. I use it for a several months and what I love the most is simplicity of how all of the processes works. I be added more than a 5 books and they don’t have any limits on it. If I need to contact support , (usually) Brian helps me to resolve the problems very fast. Thank you guys, you are doing a great job for a self-published authors!

I have the positive experience of using Gemsy for my low content books. They have a different types of readers , and you can promote your paperback books. This was essential for me so I picked that service. Thanks to customer support and especially Brian for resolving any issues in a short time! -Matt

Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Team! Supportanfragen werden sofort und zufriedenstellend bearbeitet. Das Konzept mit den Reviews funktioniert soweit auch sehr gut.

I personally use Gemsy for my non-fiction books, and it works amazingly. Especially their unique feature called Verified Print Copy Reviews, which allows me to receive reviews on paperbacks that include a photo or video. This is super helpful for algorithms! Gemsy also offers a Goodreads reviews, which some people find helpful for extra social proof. I don’t remember the exact number, but as far as I know, after about 20–25 Goodreads reviews, the Goodreads rating starts to display on the book’s Amazon page. Overall, it’s been a great experience. If I ever have any issues, their support responds pretty quickly—usually within a few hours.

I’ve been using Gemsy for about three months now and wanted to share my honest review. While some parts of the website aren’t perfect, I absolutely love this platform. The number of books available, the speed of getting reviews, and the option to receive reviews on print copies really make this site stand out. I also sometimes order Goodreads reviews in addition to regular ones. Their customer service usually replies the same day, which I really appreciate. Occasionally, when they release new features, there can be small bugs, but they’re always quick to fix them. Thank you guys! -Wes

My partner and I have been using this service to get our books reviewed. Unfortunately we have had a very bad experience. The service is expensive, and requires a lot of effort to use, there has been multiple issues that we have reported to support and they have not done anything to resolve them. The worst is after all the issues a very small percentage of the reviews we "earned" were ever redeemed. Support always has some excuse for their system not working or reviews not being compete. The final straw was saying we needed to email them if we wanted our reviews to be redeemed? What? Complete nonsense, my gut feeling is this site is 90% a scam, I think there an extremely small amount of users and one person running this out of their basement. That is all fine and good if it actually worked. But it doesn't. I wasted hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours of mine and my partners time.

Horrible customer service and not many people use the site, I used it for a month and had over 50 requested reviews that I doubt will ever be filled. I hope there is a better site out for getting reviews, this one is a huge waste of money.
