I have had a awesome experience buying from GearTrade.com I highly recommended.

I love gear trade and have bought a handful of products from the site. I primarily buy things sold by Backcountry as I trust the descriptions and have never been disappointed. The search options on GearTrade could use some updating but that's difficult when anyone can list products for sale and the seller misspells brand names, descriptions, etc. Typically not their fault but I would like to see some enhancements on that end.

As both a buyer and a seller on GearTrade, I am quite happy with their service and commitment to the customer. NO complaints.

I really like the idea of this website, where users can post their own items and have people offer what they feel is fair. I really dislike the user-friendliness of the website. I was not able to get ahold of the seller of my product through the whole experience. It turns out the seller took 9 days to ship out my product. 9 Days! I understand its not even winter yet, but have the willingness to help out the person who just bought your skis and get them there in a timely manner. I wouldnt have minded so much if I didnt have to go through GearTrades people to ask them questions, so they could turn around and ask the seller -it was just a weird user experience.

I've gotten tons of gear from here and have yet to be disappointed. The selection of used gear is always wide, the process are reasonable (and often unbelievably low), and it really seems to be great from people who have actually used it.
