I would give a , but the system would not allow. This company does not honor the warranty; they delay you all the time. They gave us a non-functioning refrigerator, and when started the repair tickets There latest excuse for non honoring the warranty is that the home that we bought, all closing documents we provided are being rejected. Also, the refrigerator is leaking a lot every time you open any door of the fridge, but they don't even care if the floors of your brand new home are getting damaged, or that the food inside the fridge goes bad in a day. They are playing this game for more than 2 months. They sent so far 6 technicians, all came and did a new assessment, found a different reason for malfunctioning, even though they connected the same software, the same laptop to the fridge, and then they left stating that someone else will come next time (usually 2-3 weeks later) to repair it. Next time a new technician would come and would tell me with a very annoyed voice "I cannot fix something without assessing it", and they end up doing a 6th or 7th assessment, different diagnostic left then for the new tech to repair, and the new tech repeats the "his own assessment before doing anything". I believe that they are doing this on purpose to make the customer give up and drop the warranty claims.

Horrible shipping standards. This is the first time I used their order on line service, and not ever again as long as I control it. I ordered a water filter because I needed one, not because I wanted one. Supposedly you receive it in 5 to seven business days. Well here it is 9 business days and I gave yet to receive it. Tracking shows it left their facility went to Mississippi and right back to their facility for no apparent reason. I think someone needs to reevaluate who they use for shipping and/or process. But don’t worry, I’ll use my local hardware store to get another. DO NOT ORDER FROM GE APPLIANCES PARTS!!!

My GE gas ranged never worked properly. The heating was inconsistent. It burns one side of what's cooking and leaves the other side undercooked. I live in a rural area, so GE sent me a "local" technician who had, admittedly, never seen this setup of a modern oven. So when he wrote the report to GE, he said it was user error. Apparently, GE HAS to use this report to deny the claim. There are no other technicians in my area, so in order to get a 2nd opinion, I would have to hire someone myself. GE will cover $250 only of the 2nd technician, which doesn't even cover the site visit. Even though I sent a video to them of a pizza burning in less time than the instructions say to cook it, they would only take the opinion of an unqualified technician. It's pathetic customer service and I will never buy another GE appliance.

Within 6 months a purchasing a new dryer, the on/off button stopped working. Although it was under warranty it took 4 weeks before the repair person could get to us. I therefore had to go to a laundromat to dry our clothes. Once the repair man arrived he pulled off the on/off button and said that he's seen many with the same problem. A crack in the cheap plastic button. He said you can just push the metal stem under the cheap plastic button to start the machine. He did not have a replacement but ordered one which was sent within a couple of weeks. We haven't "installed" it as its just as easy to push the metal stem. Additionally the machine began to throw the breaker into off. We had to have the electrician in to make sure there was nothing on that end. There was not. Its a cheap cheap cheap piece of equipment. Now they expect me to pay $60 a year to "assure" if there if another problem we won't have any out of pocket. Our previous dryer never had a problem in 25 years. We made the mistake of "upgrading" to a newer dryer. Our mistake.

Had this portable dishwasher for 2 months. Was watching movie on the couch and got up to grab a drink to see my kitchen FLOODED!!! Called GE for repair and they sent service tech 2 weeks later, service tech found the water leak location but didn't understand why it was leaking specifically from the side vent (visible water build up from the flood) so he recommend a new sprayer (hes never seen this happen before and was baffled... replaced sprayer which was still happening after replacement. I called GE back and they sent a second company for a double take to see if they could repair it. The repair company said that they couldnt and that GE needs to credit or replace it (which i confirmed with the service tech) GE called me today saying the service tech said they didn't find anything wrong with my machine yet my flooring says otherwise 😡 GE told me I was out $944 with a machine that they cant fix or replace (again 2 months old when I opened up the claim) and i busted my butt to purchase as im not rich. AVOID THEM. Not to mention we purchased a new GE washer &dryer back in May 2025 and the following month the start button wasn't working.. cheap company & products

We bought a GE Advantium built in oven, model PSB9240SV1SS. Before making this $3,149 purchase, we called customer service to discuss its features and we wanted to know if it included an air fryer mode. The GE agent confirmed that we could easily download this feature on this model after we set up the WiFi connection and downloaded the SmartHQ app. This unit is smaller than the unit it replaced so we had to hire carpentry work to be done as part of the installation. As we set up the WiFi connection and app, we couldn’t find how to download the air fryer feature. We called customer service and at first they couldn’t understand the problem. Eventually they found out that this model doesn’t support this feature. GE didn’t offer to correct the issue with a refund, replacement, or financial adjustment. All they offered was a $200 credit towards buying on of THEIR counter top air fryers!! Another sale for them, another appliance we don’t have space for, and no care at all of the expense to us for a substandard product that they sold us.

All I wanted from them was to register my wall oven and get an owners manual because they no longer include a printed copy. So, I phoned them. The guy I talked to pretended we had a bad line until I said"this is BS. If you don't want to talk to me say so, but don't pretend you can't hear me." Amazingly, we no longer had a connection problem. Then he took my info to register my product and said he had emailed me the manual. I asked him to wait while I checked my email. After a minute of my checking (including the spam folder) I asked him to recheck my email address to be sure he had sent it to the correct address, but he had ...left. He had not disconnected the call nor told me he was putting me on hold, just left. So I tried the "chat" form on the GE contact page. They wanted to charge me $5 and asked for my credit card, to get my manual sent to me. Like WOW, I've been called Cupid but not Stupid! That Is the last GE appliance I ever buy

I splurged and bought a new GE induction stove for my kitchen renovation. It broke 2 1/2 months ago and I'm still waiting to get the part that will repair it. Repeated calls. Parts that take too long to arrive and don't fix the problem. Technicians that don't know GE. That's been my experience. I will never buy another GE product and their repair company, Bodewell, is useless.
