Absolute worst company in america to be making fridges. I have one where the light fell out of the socket and dangles hitting drinks I had in there. Additionally the freezer part cannot freeze properly where popsicles melt and make a mess everywhere. Furthermore the dumb fridge doesnt have an alarm when left open. This is the worst purchase in my life I hope this company goes out of business!!!

bought my stove from home Depot 4 years ago. The oven temp didn't work and I left a review and was contacted and they said they could tell me how to set the oven temp, why should I have to fix a new stove? then the burners stopped working because they have some kind of safety button on top that doesn't work and on top of that it started RUSTING EVERYWHERE and when I mentioned that I was asked to send photos and I did and never heard back from anyone. SO the oven temp doesn't work the burners don't work and it is all rusted out in 4 years, how do you stay in business, your stove is a piece of CRAP. thanks.

Bought a french door GE refrigerator 3 years ago. I had bought a 5 year warranty. Three years later refrigerator quit cooling. Called Citricity which takes care of warranty on 06/24/26.They scheduled service on 06/29/2026. No show. Rescheduled service with different service company on 07/02/2026. The compressor had gone out.Today the 07/08/2026I am still waiting on someone to make a decision on an approval. This is one of the worst company’s I have ever felt with. Don’t buy a GE refrigerator.

One of the worst refrigerators I have ever owned. From day 1 I have and continue to have an issue with the ice cube dispenser. When I want ice cubes, both crushed ice and cubes come out of the cube dispenser. I have had 4-5 service calls, replaced the ice cube container and a PC board in the back of the fridge. Nothing has worked to get only ice cubes only out of the dispenser. When the crushed ice comes out it is spread out as to it not only hitting the glass. but outside of the glass. When dispensing water, make sure that you hold your container under the dispenser for about 1-2 seconds longer after the water comes out, because it will drip so that there is no air in the line after dispensing the water. GE doesn't provide a drip catcher to catch the excess crushed ice or water when dispensed. The service tech that came to my home seemed extremely knowledgeable about the product. He even talked to another tech and that tech said he ran into the same issue on one on his calls and he said that seems to be be the way that are designed, very poorly. The only good thing to say about this fridge is that when water is dispensed it is cold. Irv S.

Terrible website for customer service I have ever experienced. I also have spent 30 mins. on hold waiting for an agent to only be sent to another agent on hold for another agent. I will never buy another GE appliance.

Bought a GE washer dryer combo GUD27ESSM1 in April 2026, right out of the box strong gear oil smell that would not go away after numerous cleaning cycles and also out of balance issues Bodwell came out 2 times and nothing was done of course they smell nothing! Month in you could see the bolt that holds the agitator on is already corroded I filed a complaint with the state of Wisconsin that got GE to contact me I spoke with the rep and described what the problem was and a picture of the bolt, she sent everything to GE engineering department and they claimed it was the transmission so they sent the new transmission my my home and bodwell came out yesterday June 10 2026 to change the transmission 2 guys showed up. They tore apart the washer and proceeded to take off the agitator which wouldn't come off after 30 minutes of pounding on it with a hammer! So then the guy says they will have to order a new agitator which is over a week out! Because when they come back out they will have to bust or break the agitator off inside the washer drum! Nothing like going through all of this when you buy a new washer! If I remember correctly usually when you buy a new appliance a person is supposed to be Happy not pissed off!! If bodwell maybe would of tried taking the agitator off first before taking everything apart I would at least have a washer yet! So now I have to go to the Laundromat and spend time and money to wash my clothes! And I just got off the phone with GE And they don't give a crap! That's not what I would call good customer service! The GE rep from the executive team didn't care at all! So do yourself a favor and really think it through before purchasing anything from GE and don't rely on reviews! I am assuming a lot of the reviews I read are paid promotions! They are not honest reviews anyone is going to say a piece of junk is great if they are getting paid! They should have just swapped out the unit! GE acts like nobody has a job and you can just leave work whenever to come home and wait for bodwell to come! It's like TRUMP is running GE!!! From all the bad reviews iam reading it looks to me that GE likes to GRIFT off of people! Unbelievable! I've had better customer service from companies in china!!

The absolute worst customer service. Purchased a dishwasher from them nearly a month ago, still hasn't been installed. Oh they took my money immediately, don't you worry...but actually getting me a functioning dishwasher...not so much.

The lousy customer service is my complaint, because sometimes appliances die when under warranty and if the company handles it, then it's all good. GE didn't handle it. I purchased an over-the-range microwave with a one year warranty and six months later it began sparking, making a loud explosive noise when starting, and scorched the ceiling. OK, things happen, I opened a warranty claim. I knew they were going to come back and say there was no authorized service technician in my area but I jumped through their hoops and waited a week for them to figure that out for themselves. It's a common problem in Hawaii. Usually a company will refund the original purchase price or ship you a replacement. Well not GE. They simply stopped responding. I've followed up multiple times, they're just ghosting me. So I bought a replacement - a Whirlpool. No more GE for me, with their failure to honor warranty and bad manners to not even respond.
