The combo washer/dryer has to be the worst appliance ever manufactured! Even though it says it can do a load in 2-hours, it typically takes 4-6 hours. You can do a load in 2-hours of all you are washing is a few pillow cases or 2 pairs of pants! In addition, you have to wash the filter after almost every load (and yes, you still have to clean it off after every load), plus we just found out that there is a part on the bottom front of the appliances behind 2-doors, that you have to unscrew and clean out “every month or two”. We are probably going to put this piece of junk on the road and buy a good stackable! Stay far away from this appliance!

We are rental property owners and…
We are rental property owners and purchased about 30 GE appliances this last year. we have had nothing but problems with these. we usually by all GE because we have had the best luck with them, but this last batch is horrible. during covid they must have out-sourced quality control to monkeys in some other country. we are needing warranty work once a month....they are starting to fall out of the 1 year warranty now we have to pay for repairs. what happened to an appliance that would last longer than 5 years. do not buy GE....we wont again. they suck

Extremely disappointed with General…
Extremely disappointed with General Electric (GE) and their handling of defective products. I purchased a brand-new appliance set that arrived completely inoperable, and instead of taking responsibility for delivering a faulty product, GE insisted it was a warranty issue. A warranty is meant to cover malfunctions after reasonable use—not to cover up a failure in quality control and fulfillment.
To make matters worse, customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful. I have had to follow up multiple times, only to be ignored or met with excuses. GE seems more interested in deflecting responsibility than in making things right for their customers. This experience has been frustrating, costly, and completely unacceptable.
I expected better from a company with GE’s reputation, but unfortunately, they’ve proven that customer satisfaction is not a priority. I will not be purchasing GE products in the future and strongly urge others to reconsider before making a purchase.

I purchased a Monogram oven by GE Appliances in mid 2019 for $11,000, expecting a high-quality product that would last. However, in just five years, the oven’s bake igniter has failed three times, requiring costly repairs. This is not a small issue—multiple professional technicians have confirmed that needing four igniters in five years is highly abnormal and suggests a defective unit.
During the two-year warranty period, GE repaired the oven once and then again just outside of the warranty period as a courtesy, but now that the same issue has occurred a third time, they refuse to assist me in any way because the warranty has expired. This is unacceptable for a premium-priced appliance.
I contacted GE Appliances, explaining that the problem first appeared within the warranty period and should have been properly diagnosed back then. Their response? They won’t do anything unless I pay out of pocket for another service call to diagnose the issue, after which they will “determine” if there is a defect. How convenient for them.
The oven is in the same price range as other high-end brands yet it clearly does not meet the same quality standards. Worse, GE only backs their product with a two-year warranty, which speaks volumes about their lack of confidence in their own appliances.
I strongly advise against purchasing a Monogram oven or any GE Appliances product. Their customer service is dismissive, and they do not stand behind their products beyond the bare minimum.
Before buying, check the warranty—if the company itself doesn’t believe in its longevity, why should you?

Frustrated
Subject: Frustration and Disappointment with GE Stove – Seeking Resolution
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with both GE and the technician sent to assess my stove. I have communicated with Rhonda, Adrian, and Kelly Johnson regarding my concerns, but I feel unheard and unsatisfied with the resolution offered.
The stove is only three months old, and I have used it solely for regular cooking, including frying food. Despite this, I am already experiencing issues. The technician who came to inspect the appliance noted the problem but stated that the ceramic part is not covered by GE. If I’m already seeing wear and damage this early on, I worry about the stove’s durability over time.
Rhonda sent me a cleaning kit that included a metal brush, but using it on the already-scratched surface would likely cause further damage. Additionally, the back burner is smaller, and the screw is visible, making it appear as though food debris is stuck, even after cleaning.
I was advised to replace the stovetop, but at my own expense, which I find unacceptable for a relatively new appliance. This is not the level of service I expected as a loyal GE customer. I am seeking a fair resolution, whether it be a replacement stovetop or another appropriate solution that acknowledges the premature issues with this product.

GE Gallery Induction/AirFry Stove is a DUD!
I have a GE Gallery Induction/AirFry stove - Model CGIH3047VF. Purchased in September 2023. Wish I could turn back the clock and return this dud. Burners only heat the centre 8" despite larger, so-called "sensing" technology to adjust to pot/pan size. Uneven heating across the burners - means sauces are burning on one side of a pot while I'm stirring continuously. Bacon on one part of the pan cooks while the other side it sits raw until I move it over to the side that is heating. It's ruining a set of stainless steel pots and pans that I've used for almost 50 years! They were in perfect condition until this stove. The oven is awful for precise baking - drys out rather than bakes delicate desserts. Burns casseroles on the outside while not cooked inside. I do a lot of baking and cooking, and have had more burnt and scorched food and utensils in the last 1 1/2 years with this stove than the entire 50 years I've been cooking and baking. Even my previous Samsung stove was better than this. The airfry oven function is the only one that seems to operate without issues. If I get within 6" of the control panel, the oven turns itself on, so using the back burners is a constant battle to keep it turned off. Time to ditch this lemon and going for something that I can actually cook with.
