Bought the Cafe white GE Fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave in Oct 2024. The Dishwasher stopped working in June 2025 which is 8 months later. They sent their service guys to my house on 5 different occasional and they were not able to fix it. It was determined that they would replace it first week of September. I called them almost every day and None of the customer service had a straight answer and almost all were very rude with the answers they gave. They lied multiple time saying they sent me the check for half the price of the unit because i had used it for 8 months but that did not make sense because the warranty was for 1 year. Finally in November i almost gave up and my wife requested i try Better Business Bureau for help. I reached out to BBB and believe me 3 days later they reached out to settle. GE appliances are the worst and Customer service sucks and you all need to be re- trained or let go. Worst experience i have ever had. Thanks to BBB if it wasn't you i am sure they would not have refunded me even though it was still less than i paid for the dishwasher.

On 1/30/25 I purchased a GE Model GGF600AVSS gas range. It was converted to propane at delivery. The stove when igniting sounds like an explosion and when burner comes on it sounds like a blow torch. This can be very scary when it sounds like the house is going to blow up! Repair came out to service March 4th & 18th. Then again May 29th and finally July 24th. Was told on the 24th that the engineering department said there was no fix. Our gas provider had checked the regulators into the house twice and they are working correctly. In September I sent a letter to GE Headquarters. Received a call that they wanted to hear a recording of the burner and would send me a link by email, never received the link. Tried to contact them without success. I will never purchase another GE Product and current shopping for a replacement range.

I bought a GE top load washer about 5 years ago which has been steadily been getting noisier in the last 2 years. When it agitates it make a terrible grinding sound. I followed all the recommendations from cleaning and so on but it just gets louder in time. I also tried to Google repairs for this problem but in most cases it talks about replacing the transmission. That seems to be a common problem with these machines. That means after 3 years from new the transmission starts to fail. As far as I'm concerned this should've been recalled for bad design. You pay about a thousand dollars for a machine that doesn't last is criminal and should be challenged legally with a class action lawsuit! I will never buy GE appliances again!!

I have purchased three GE microwaves. The first lasted five or six years, the second about three years. The last one,and it will definitely be the last one, lasted one year and twenty three days. Twenty three days past warranty. GE products are not reliable and of very poor quality. Do not purchase one!

My review is for two GE appliances only a few years old. Old Fridge and Microwave lasted over 25 years and was still working when replaced. Microwave same. 1. The 4K dollar Profile refrigerator. Right after warranty was over... 1. Freezer fan went out. Had to replace myself. 2. Auto fill on the water doesn't work and either doesn't fill or overflows, of which excess water fried the drawer board, have to replace. 3. Now another fan is out and now needs a new one. 4. Icemaker stopped working, no ICE. Still diagnosing how much this will cost me. 2. Microwave. 1. LED now flashes all the time. Needs new main board. I will never purchase another GE appliance again. They are gone and no longer a viable investment. Products are made to fail with no QA and will only cost you money.

GE's Bodewell Appliance repair service is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. 4 year old GE profile fridge quits (compressor). 1 week for service technician to arrive. Diagnoses the problem and tells me it's 3 weeks for the parts. Parts are sitting in my kitchen, and Bodewell could not move up my appointment. 4 WEEKS WITHOUT A REFIGERATOR! Are you kidding me! Had to go borrow one. By the way folks, GE Appliance is not an American Company anymore. It's called HAIER, and it's owned by the Chinese which explains why their appliances have turned to junk. We use to always buy GE products - no more!

I bought a fridge and dishwasher and both had problems as soon as they were delivered. The first time I used the dishwasher it made so much noise... I thought - what the hell. The fridge was not leveled correctly and when they delivered it I was told they couldn't do the door switch that day because he forgot his tools ???? I asked him to level it at least because it wobbled - his response was "you can use it" - no I couldn't - I had to wait 2 weeks for Cosmo Tech to come. I don't know what the tech did but after he was done trying to level it - I could see the metal footings - you're not supposed to see that and the door fridge was no longer flush like the freezer door was. I bought these appliances in April 2025 and I'm still waiting for the 3rd door of my fridge (the other 2 also had problems with them) and as for the dishwasher the pump was broken - they had to replace the part - THESE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND NEW APPLICANCES. DO NOT BUY GE - THEIR BRAND SUCKS....

I would give minus stars if possible. Bought a GE washer ( model GTW465ASN9WW) in June of 2023. Two days ago the bolt that holds the agitator base to the actual machine broke in half. And it was rusted. Who puts parts in a machine that will rust? We won't be buying another GE washer. My first washer, a Kenmore bought in 1989, worked fine for 25 years. GE, where is your pride and integrity?
