I'll never buy another GE product again. After 10 minutes to get a rude call center woman, I was disconnected, website chat tried to get me to give a credit card info to speak with a tech regarding a $1000 machine that has a faulty mother board after 15 months of ownership and stating a 10 year warranty. When you have a system designed to make it difficult to speak with a human being they have no desire in helping after the sale. Heading out to buy a better brand.

We purchased a beautiful GE profile slide in electric range. It is the top of the line appliance. The day after if was delivered the red light on the touch pad did not shut off so we received a new range. Now it’s been 6 months and the week of Christmas and the touch pad for the burners don’t work. We have out of town guests coming for Christmas and we are also hosting 20 people and now we don’t have a stove to cook for the holidays. This is unacceptable that the top of the line appliance has so many problems and the only thing that GE will do is send a repairman and the part won’t be available for weeks during the holidays. This is horrible service for a horribly made appliances NEVER will I EVER buy or recommend this brand to anyone!!!

I just won against them in Québec small claims court. Electronic panel of dishwasher failed and caught fire after 15 months of use. GE refused to pay for part and repairs. Beat them solid. Worst company ever.

Bodewell/GE has been attempting to fix my near $10k Monogram 2 year old fridge/freezer for over 2 months. They finally found a fix to a manufacturer defect. That fix caused another vital issue with the unit. They claim they cannot fix it and tough luck. Go buy a new one they say and they will not honor warranty nor replace the unit. Legal is getting involved, AG has been contacted, BBB and reviews being left.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Paid for a technician to look up the code which I already did and tell me my touchpad was broken which I already told him. He did not inquire about a new one (which is available) because GE does not have them. This seems like a scam to get you to buy a new appliance. Do not use Bodewell!

GE Bodewell Appliance Repair Service GE Dryer not working - I thought the smart thing to do would be go to the appliance website - wrong! Two weeks to get an appointment - no show Customer service offers us to not charge a trip fee if we reschedule. We wait another week. Repairman shows up and demands the trip fee be paid before he checks out the dryer. We explain that we had the trip fee waived, but he has not been notified. We ask him to wait while we call customer service. He DRIVES away. I call back, and customer service says that they are unable to contact him. Another no show.

I purchased a GE dehumidifier. After 6 months it shut down with an error code. 1 year warranty. GE said they don’t repair that appliance and I can buy another one at the store and send them the receipt for a reimbursement. Problem with that is they don’t have any more in the store and I would have to figure out how to properly dispose of the old one. I’m 81 years old and these machines are not light. Some warranty.

We purchase a "commercial" quality washing machine 3 years ago with a 5 year warranty. The same pully (plastic) has "stripped" out 5 times in the last year. The local appliance where we bought it has replaced the pulley and belt 3 times because GE would not replace the machine. The fourth time GE sent there own "preferred" repair service. This was about 4 months ago. He replaced the pulley, belt, and "tightened" everything he could find. GE refused replace the washer. Every time we did not have a washer to use for about 10 days and had to use laundromats. It has now failed for the fifth time and we have ordered a different brand for a new washer even though we still have 2 yeas of "repairs" left one the GE warranty. It is just no longer worth the inconvenience, hassle, and expense of using a laundromat. We did complain to both GE and the state's Attorney General office who said they could do nothing.
