This company is awful. The shoes ran small. The exchange process was terrible and they recommended that I do a return and just order new stuff. Had to pay return shipping, then wait nearly 2 months for them to inspect them. If I hadn't followed up every week or two I don't think they would have done anything. Then they processed an exchange despite being told multiple times it was a return. Then they didn't refund all of the items I returned. When I finally did get a full refund after threatening to contest the charge, they kept $2 more per item for a "bank" fee. They are a scam from an operations perspective. Cheap shoes made cheaply in China and shipped to US customers. No intention of repeat customers or customer service. Absolutely awful company.

DO NO TRUST THIS COMPANY! I ordered two pairs of shoes from them. After doing some more digging, I decided to cancel my order. With 99% of online vendors, it's not an issue. But it is with Gatsby Shoes! When you call the number they list, it's a recording that the only way to contact them is to email them. Huge red flag. I sent them an email cancelling my order. About 5 hours later, they set me an auto-generated email that they had shipped my items. The next day they sent me an email saying, sorry it's been shipped. But under federal law, shipping doesn't occur until the shipper receives the items, not when they generate the label. Receipt by the shipper wouldn't happen for 3 more days. Besides, I cancelled my order 5 hours BEFORE they created a label. They have objected to my credit card charge back, they have insulted me in emails, and they have zero customer service. The shoes I cancelled arrived, and I haven't even examined the shoes until my complaint is resolved with my credit card company. But guess what--they will only take refunds 30 days from your order, and charge backs take 30+ days. And they charge you a restocking fee, plus make you pay out of pocket to ship and return the shoes. They have an Ohio phone number and a New Jersey return address for the shoes. More red flags! Save your money and get some real shoes from a real company. This company is just looking to fleece you.

Terrible customer service. I bought the shoes for my boyfriend in April for Father’s Day after seeing an ad on Facebook. The size was supposed to be 10 but when he tried them on they were way bigger than a normal 10. I reached out to the company for an exchange and they repeatedly mentioned the 30 day return. I told them it was an exchange not a return and the sizes were not true. As good customer service or curtesy would be to offer an exchange for a misrepresented product. I would have paid shipping back. They were unwilling to work with me at all and I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company. I don’t typically write bad reviews but this was a terrible purchase that I deeply regret. Update 6-9-2024. Meanwhile 2 years later you respond to say you’ve reached out? No I’m sorry. You did not and 2022 would have been a more appropriate year to try to make things right.

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. My shoes only lasted three weeks before the front tip came away from the sole. I wrote to them to say how disappointed I was and requested a full refund. They have stated they will not give any refund for shoes that have been worn. The quality is extremely poor and they just don't care about customer service or satisfaction whatsoever.

Poor customer service experience & attitude. NOTE: the 30-day return policy clock starts at SHIPMENT date(from China). Not every purchase works out, but how the seller handles the return and refund process defines good companies from the bad - Gatsby is not a good company. While I was surprised by having to pay a fee for the privilege of a return, it is mentioned in their terms. The condescending customer service emails and marginal to poor quality of the shoes were a surprise, although the shoes look nice. But the poor tracking and return policy mean they are not worth the risk. I did get a partial refund, but would never recommend them.

After reading the extremely bad reviews I contacted gatsby to ask to cancel my order, this was just 10 minutes after I had ordered them, I also contacted my bank to stop payment, you might ask why I had not read the reviews before I ordered them, well I did but on the actual shopping site all the reviews where great, it was only after did I go on to other reviews did I see the bad reviews, anyway I got my money back apart from £2, I can’t say the shoes where bad or good as I never received them but I was not taking a chance.

Unresolved pricing error. Robotic responses. Worst customer service experience ever. BBB is now involved. Credit Card Company is next. Spread the word: don't do business with them. Class Action anyone??

Had the shoes for about 1 month. The sole is separating and the response from Gatsbyshoes was that they don't offer refund/replacement for products that are damaged due to usage. Fair enough if they would have lasted more than 30 days. Customer service is non-existent.
