Stay far away from these shoes
Don’t buy GatsbyShoes The amount of noxious fumes that hit me in the face when I cut the out shipping bag open, could only have been outdone by one other thing. The tripled noxious fumes that filled my lung and my house when I cut into the inner bag containing these shoes. I immediately was nauseated and had a headache. I took the packaging and shoes outside immediately. And 3 hours later my home is still filled with them. Heaven help the poor souls that have to work in the factory with these shoes. No amount of mask, N95 or otherwise , could protect their lung from this chemical. I can’t review them past that because I have no idea when I’ll be able to bring them inside to try them on. If ever. The one thing I can say with certainty is that they are most definitely not made of leather. I would attach a pic but i tossed them out the door and i am not going anywhere near them until tomorrow. Avoid this at all cost. And help save a life. Edit: This company replied below that they reached out seeking an order number to “make things right.” They did not. The same day they posted their reply I got notified via email and came to see their response. They did not reach out to me in any way. Also, one week later and the shoes still off put a horrible noxious odor. It’s unbearable. I threw them in the trash.
