Great help from Galileo
I was an hour and a half from home and this was such a great help to me in my time of pain and stressing about where to go. Straight to the Galileo app! It was wonderful!

Traditionally the healthcare system has been one-size-fits-some. Galileo was built to reimagine what modern healthcare should be from the ground up. One of the fastest growing tech-enabled medical practices in the country, Galileo is designed to deliver high-quality, affordable care for everyone. Through an easy-to-use app, patients can receive on-demand, 24/7 virtual care care for most conditions, from the common cold and hair loss, to mental health and diabetes. After downloading the app, patients are able to immediately connect with Galileo’s team of medical experts and get help, fast. Through the app, they can also receive prescriptions, order labs, or when needed, be referred to an in-network specialist. Care is delivered via chat, video, or audio, allowing patients to skip the doctor’s office and receive care, wherever they are. Galileo’s doctors are board-certified clinicians from the country’s leading medical schools, trained to deliver clinically excellent care to everyone. Galileo employs full-time doctors across primary care, specialty care, and mental health; with 30% of its clinical staff being fluent in both English and Spanish. Clinicians work together closely and coordinate their efforts, which allows for increased accuracy and the best clinical outcomes for patients. The Galileo service currently operates 24/7 across all 50 states.

It is a much cheaper way to get prescriptions that you need without having to pay to see a doctor and you can do it all from your phone.

After suffering from chronic debilitating migraines for over a decade, I am so grateful to Galileo Health for giving me my life back. My migraines were as frequent as 15 days out of 30, which left me unable to hold a job, enjoy social events, or even make plans for the future, since I never knew when they would strike. I had consulted with many doctors over the years, before the Galileo doctors on my case finally managed to figure out what five different general practitioners and three neurologists hadn't: that my migraines were primarily a symptom of my high blood pressure—which no one had ever even noted on my medical records, much less treated (even though they had mentioned to me more than once that it ran on the high side, they weren't concerned). The team at Galileo had me track my blood pressure with a home monitor and keep a diary. My readings were so high, they were almost off the charts. So, after getting my complete health history, and sending me to the lab to get comprehensive bloodwork in case there was an underlying problem causing my high blood pressure, the Galileo doctors began treating me for stage 2 hypertension. It took three different medications to get my blood pressure down to normal, which they prescribed gradually, according to my BP readings. The process took three months, and while most doctors don't offer timely follow-up appointments, the doctors at Galileo checked in with me often—as often as every few days at some points—adjusting my dosages until I was out of the danger zone and into the normal range. Also, with the app, Galileo doctors are much easier to get in touch with than a traditional doctors office, and typically respond to my messages within an hour. In addition to messaging, which is very convenient, I've also had phone and video appointments with them, according to my preference. As a result of lowering my blood pressure, my migraines have grown progressively weaker and less frequent. Nowadays, getting a migraine is a rare event. After so many years of suffering, it seems nothing short of a miracle to feel this well. To be frank, I didn't have very high expectations when I paid $250 for a yearly subscription with Galileo. I just needed a quick prescription for some migraine meds. But I’ve been constantly surprised by the high quality of care they provide. Honestly, I have never had such attentive and professional care from any medical care providers in my life. In addition to migraines and hypertension, Galileo doctors have treated me for UTIs and pulled muscles. I much prefer them over my local doctor, and I can't recommend them enough.

They will not prescribe you ANYTHING. I have been on the medication I was requesting for years with no issues. However they require labs for literally everything (I understand for some drugs.. but i’ve literally been on this medication for a long time with 0 issues). I can’t afford bloodwork or even take time off from work to get it done (as no labs are open when i’m off work). In addition, they won’t let me cancel my subscription even though they aren’t providing the care they described upon signing up. The providers do not care about you at all, and they do not want to help you.
