High Praise for Function
The price of Function is phenomenal for what you receive. Before finding it, I could have paid thousands to get the labs my functional doctor was ordering, but I couldn't afford to. Function made getting labs affordable so I can be compliant and get the most out of my doctor visits. I am recommending it to everyone, which I rarely do. The app is very user friendly, thorough, and helpful. Making appointments for blood draws through the app are especially easy. There is room to upload other outside health documents and these can inform AI with it's personalized plans and recommendations. I love using the AI chat in the app because I know it is trained to functional medicine guidelines and evidence based protocols, as well as my own personal medical information and lab results. I have a secure place to ask my questions. The clinician's notes thoroughly help me understand what is going on in my body and what I need to be paying attention to. I can see why it took over a month to received it. I thought it would recommend what I should do about the findings, but that is where working with a doctor comes into play. The AI chat was really helpful in tiding me over as I awaited my lab results and clinician notes. It is the place where I can form lifestyle plans and protocols based on my bloodwork. I did have to reach out to support a couple of times with issues I had getting my blood drawn, and they were helpful, but if I could change one thing about the app to make it better, I would have a place on the home page that lets me know I've had a response, rather than making me go look for it. I LOVE this app! It gives me so much confidence to be in control of my health decisions. I feel empowered.
