Five stars for value of information, doctor review and ease of use of the site and testing. I had recommended this program to many. However, I was totally creeped out by the invasive questioning of the detailed health history which did not let me opt out of "required" entries. One or no stars for that aspect of this otherwise good program.

I joined then less than a week later the service went on sale for a 2 yr membership which they did not let me join. That is bad business Happy to addend review if they reconsider

I was disappointed with the add-on test for food sensitivities. The results indicated that I'm sensitive to everything on the list. I doubt very much that this is accurate or has any value in guiding my food choices. I've read reports that these tests are often ambiguous and have a lot of false positives. That seems to be the case here and I feel like I wasted my time and money on this test.

Blood draw was smooth and straight forward. Results came back timely. It was hard to tell whether all results were in or if more were still coming. Now that the results are in, I read the comments but I don't really know what the next step is. I feel a bit lost in the process. I was expecting that recommendations and action plans (perhaps with AI) would be next. I hope that we can sort this out to know where to go from here.

well this product is not for those of us who live in rural America. I have to travel more than 60 miles to get to a lab location. Even then, one lab test went missing and it was too much for me to try to get back to testing location. Service probably works fine if you live in the city, but I won't be renewing my membership

Function Health is somewhat of a mixed bag for me. The staff are always friendly, responsive and helpful, the testing and scheduling are convenient, especially now with concierge blood draws. Unfortunately, since I joined as a beta member, a few tests are no longer run that I found valuable, the supplements/protocol section is no longer auto generated, you must initiate with the AI and my suggested food was skimpy. There is a place to give medical history/context on the site but it was only very shallowly refrenced in my results summaries, which felt lacking and uninformative. They said nothing I had not already discovered myself and seemingly missed many connections. The summaries also made assumptions I thought Functional Medicine avoided. I use AI but I feel like the site isn't doing what it pitched itself as doing, and offering true clinical insights from medical professionals, relying almost entirely on AI, who doesn't have interpretational nuance. My summaries also had errors. I did discuss with the site AI my history and concerns that it was not properly considered when evaluating my results. I appreciate the ability to cross refrence and track results. I also appreciate it now being considerably less than the $499 I paid twice, it makes it more affordable to do add ons.
