I was appreciative of the extensive blood work but what I wasn’t counting on was the quest lab tech trying to frighten me about the volume of blood taken. I was not impressed by the analysis of the physician. I did show one of my physicians and he said he must not have had access to all of your chart notes as some things were not accurate for me. Regardless I didn’t really have many markers outside of normal range and it agreed with life force that my biological age was a lot younger than my chronological age. It did confirm my scrupulous diet habits, no alcohol or drugs or smoking during a life time has paid off.

I loved functional health, however, the Quest lab in Encinitas Ca was a nightmare 3 times wasting hours of my time, this could hurt FH reputation and i Ihope this gets addressed.

The amount of information is amazing. Keep it coming!!! I'm learning so much about my health. It fills a void left by traditional medicine. I'm learning what I can do to improve the low chronic inflammation I've experienced the past few years -simply by altering eating patterns instead of applying creams when rashes appear. Now, rashes are a thing of the past. Hooray!

Helpful explanations of biomarker results, lists of foods to favor and avoid, and relevant supplements make this service far better than average. Also, keeping the results off one's medical record is priceless. About the only thing missing is recommendations for biomarker tests that FH *doesn't* cover themselves (but that Quest or a similar lab might). Regardless, I'm a fan.

I think the price for the basic test with 100+ markers is a no brainer. I think the add ons can be a bit abusive. Would I recommend this service, absolutely, and I have to others. I'm now in a situation where I need a few of the additional tests but cannot or will not pay the prices from Function Health. Additionally it is helpful to have the clinician notes at the end but with the ranges conflicting with other studies the notes were not much use to me. Specifically on cholesterol the ranges are a controversial subject.

Helpful it gives direction for doctor appointments to help with diagnosis . On issues previously not found due to insurance restrictions on testing. . Con no easy way to share functional health results with providers.

The extent of information is like nothing I’ve seen before. I feel confident in my health now instead of just hoping everything is ok. And! Since I have a high deductible insurance plan, and would be a “cash patient “, the cost of this amount of blood testing ordered from a medical office would be astronomical. I’m so thankful for this service!

You can’t beat the price for all included tests. It is also easy to reschedule if needed and it is easy to reach their live agent support. However, I am very disappointed with their final review since it looked more like a generic response rather than personalized. It also had errors. It looks like the person who wrote it was writing about someone else but not me, and it looked like it was written with help of LLM rather than human.
