The time of waiting for symptoms to see a Dr and then being dependent on them to improve your health is long past! Function Health empowers me to monitor critical metrics of my health and in consultation with my Dr, make effective adjustments to proactively optimize each aspect of my health.

Function Health made it very easy to have a wide array of blood test done that are much more comprehensive than what my primary care doctor requests. The results I received brought my attention to a few areas that needed addressing and were never highlighted by my doctor. I liked that suggested supplements were recommended based on my first round of tests and by my second round problem areas were still out of range but were getting better. However, the clinical notes took much longer to arrive than anticipated. Getting the notes sooner would be an improvement I would recommend.

I like the affordability and comprehensive tests, but I wish there was an option to consult with a clinician post test results . While the AI-generated result interpretation is helpful, it's not specific enough. For example, supplements were recommended, but not the dosage, timing, frequency, etc. When I messaged Function regarding followup options , I was told to consult my Primary care physician. Well, my PCP was not trained in nutrition or supplements so she had no idea what to recommend. Even if Function had a list of clinician referrals in my area would be helpful. While having the raw data is a starting point, the way ahead isn't provided. Researching on line is too generalized. Ways2Well, for example, has an option to consult with a human post results which is terrific. While relatively happy with Function, I will probably switch to W2W for the clinician option so I have a Plan Of Action

Easy to get the tests locally two problems 1 I was unable to download for my physician into his lab base 2 I think it would be good to automatically repeat any test that was out of range in the first test

I really like this service but it can be hard to figure out which series of tests the clinician is commenting on, especially if you have multiple results after a couple years. I have commented on this issue before but I don’t know if it has been resolved.

Tried it this year right after my annual physical. More information, just not anything I could act on. Raised questions. FH suggests I try again in 30 days. Haven't been back while I try to figure out what do to improve results. Now it is January 2026. Started exercising and refining supplements. Can't see any reason to repeat the testing unless something changes. Probably wait until next annual physical for 2026. Hoping this would help my journey. Unfortunately not so much. Maybe because 1.5 year before I was seeing a Functional doc and had a good idea of where I was. Testing not a bad value, but hoped for some guidance. Nada. It was like getting a new set of tools, but not knowing what to do with them and no project to jump into. Over time I suspect service will improve.

The 6 mo blood draw was a hassle because the extra test I paid for wasn’t listed. And so far, the comments about the new blood tests sound almost exactly like the original comments.

I think the value and data provided were a great investment in my health. The limitations in testing sites available was a bit of a struggle as I had to drive over an hour away to the closest location. Other than that, the platform, app, and physician recommendations have been helpful in making changes to my current diet & supplement regime. I'm looking forward to seeing my next set of labs to gauge my progress.
