I have always really liked my function and it helps knowing my lab results. However, this time around has had so many errors and the labs were incomplete. I am missing labs that I paid for. I reached out 3 times and no one obviously looked at my labs to see that stuff was not ordered and I was told to look at the more tab, which still does not contain results I paid for. Such a disappoint this time around and no one has been able to help.

I had to re-request a set of tests where the results were very clearly outside the possible range, indicating lab error. It took effort, but Function ordered the test and I was able to complete them. When the results came back in range- validating the hypothesis of lab error- the original results were not only left on my account, they were incorporated into my health notes and recommended actions. I'm here for AI to support summaries, but it should only do so with human oversight, and if that isn't the case, it should be fully disclosed and not presented as human supervised. This is a good value for tests that I otherwise would have paid more to access through health insurance, but the "health advisory" functionality is overstated at best.

I am very concerned about the issues surrounding my recent laboratory testing through Function Health and Quest, particularly the errors that occurred during collection and the subsequent inaccurate information regarding my test results. According to the information provided by Function Health, Quest made multiple errors—not only during the collection of my blood samples, but also in how certain tests were documented. I was informed that some results were reportedly marked as “TNP” and that the tests were “cancelled at client’s request.” This is inaccurate. At no time did I request that any of my tests be cancelled. The blood collection itself was also problematic. During my first appointment, the clinician made three attempts in three different areas. During the first draw, the needle was moved while the vial was being removed, which resulted in an unnecessarily difficult and stressful experience. Because of these issues, I was required to schedule a second appointment for another blood draw. Subsequently, I received a request to schedule yet another, third appointment because I was told that several results were incomplete. Given my previous experience and the difficulties I had already encountered, I specifically asked to be contacted by phone to discuss the situation. Instead, I subsequently received a message stating that my results were now in and complete, without any explanation of what had changed or why another blood draw was suddenly no longer necessary. My husband experienced a remarkably similar situation. He was also asked to return for a second blood draw because of supposedly missing information. When we requested to speak with someone about the issue, his missing markers were quickly updated and we were then told that another blood draw was no longer necessary. Taken together, these circumstances raise serious concerns about the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of the laboratory process. The fact that results initially described as incomplete or requiring another collection can subsequently be updated without another blood draw, combined with the inaccurate notation that tests were cancelled at the client's request, is extremely concerning. This reflects poorly not only on Quest but also on Function Health, particularly because Function Health is the service through which I relied on these laboratory results and recommendations. I would like a clear explanation of: Which tests were initially reported as TNP or cancelled. Why they were documented as “cancelled at client’s request” when I never made such a request. Which specimens were considered inadequate or incomplete and why. Why I was subsequently told that my results were complete without another blood draw. Whether any of my reported results may have been affected by the collection problems. What steps Function Health is taking with Quest to ensure the accuracy and integrity of my testing.

I really enjoyed my initial experience with Function Health. I think that they offer a great service with good value for the money. The major point that I take issue with is the way they administer their promotions. First, when their annual rate was $499 a year, the offered a special rate for new customers of $365/year. It's frustrating when a company values new customer acquisition and growth over loyal customers. Then, after a few months, they dropped their rates down to $365 for everyone. I was excited that this was their new approach. Then I received an email offering a $100 discount off the rate to celebrate the Supp.co acquisition. Even though I hadn't been an active subscriber for a full year, I was deemed ineligible as a former member. Again and again, they seem to prove that they prioritize new customer acquisition over maintaining or continuing relationships. This is a Health company. I hate having to deal with them like a Cable or Satellite Radio subscription. I am super excited about their recent acquisition about supp.co, but until they change their customer service practices, I'll likely stay with the other provider that I found in their absence.

I had a lot of issues trying to get my labs scheduled in Arizona. Seems like they have a part time person doing support - not the best. I also have 2 issues with charges but they were able to resolve them. Overall great medical data - poor delivery though on Customer Service

The app still has major scheduling issues. Quest is also a huge pain, they cancelled my appointments multiple times. The reason for giving two stars is at least the customer service team tried to be helpful.
