I love function! My only issue is that the additional labs I added to to my second visit of the year was scheduled separately so I had to make an additional appointment. This was unclear until the technician told me the day of the blood draw. I wish the website were easier to navigate.

The process scheduling and preparing for the lab visit were seamless. The results began appearing within 48 hours which was great. It was a bit confusing to track the newly added results (some things remained marked as New that were previously reported), but not big deal there. The clinician notes, while thorough, provided limited actionable steps (other than to review further with your doctor, etc.). Had to feed results into ChatGPT or other to get recommended concrete next steps. That should be a part of the Function process...but I bet their lawyers are worried about liability. Too bad. Not sure about the value compared to other services. The add-on tests seem quite pricey.

The process of getting labs done is very efficient and easy. However the clinical summary is informative regarding the lab results except for abnormal labs, it just recommends “see your healthcare provider “. It would be nice to get more specific advice about next steps.

I love everything about Function Health except would like to see new input (user updates in medical history or scan results from Ezra) reflected/factored in) promptly in our personal assessment—such as foods and supplements recommended, biological age, and reports. This should be a simple matter of triggering an AI bot. I have recommended Function Health to family members and friends and some have already become members. Yay!

I think function health is a very affordable way to take a deeper dive into your health and have it reviewed by professionals who are more conservative and holistic minded and not immediately going to western medicine approaches. My experience with function health has been wonderful, my only recommendation would be to allow for a zoom/video call to discuss the results, otherwise I give the company two thumbs up.
