FrigidaireReviews of frigidaire.com

I have a gallery series fghs2342lf1 refridgerator and I will never buy another one again! From the start I had problems with ice cube jamming. I had to replace the water inlet valve. The water dispenser doesn't shut off as well as the ice dispenser. I tried to order a new solenoid 3 times and each time the wrong one was sent. I also had to replace the ice maker Itself I might add. Don't waste your money on this overpriced pile of junk!

Ah yes, another classic American brand that has gone down the tubes. My Frigidaire EFR177-BLUE retro-styled mini-fridge arrived missing screws, and it's the handle. After three separate attempts to contact Frigidaire's support and after waiting a total of three weeks, I never heard a single thing back. However, I did receive three separate confirmation emails confirming they had received my support request. The missing parts were only the beginning. As for the build quality: it's a hard "zero." The retro paint is cheap and dull, the bottle opener dangerously sharp, and the logo is made from cheap "chrome" plastic. It's extremely loud and makes all sorts of terrible noises, and the temperature adjustment knob is in the back of the unit surrounded by shoddily assembled wiring and components. End to end, this thing is a TOTAL mess. Who approved this model anyways? And how in the world is it 2020 and your company can't answer emails and run a support center? Do you people know there is software to manage these activities? I'll never buy another Frigidaire product again.

It's a nightmare trying to get them to honor the warranty. Also, they never have available agents to assist, you call the customer service number and after going through all the prompts, they simply say that "all agents are busy at this time, call back" and then hang up. During one of the proposal they say to use the live chat, but their web page doesn't have a live chat 😡. Never again will I buy from them.

We have the Frigidaire Gallery side by side stainless refrigerator and it came with our new Lennar home. Within 40 days of closing the bottom two shelves of the freezer collapsed due to bulging of the outer freezer wall. Due to COVID, they would not come out for 3 months. After a 70 minute hold, Frigidaire finally scheduled a local contractor a week out and this person wrote a whole report and said this was not fixable and needed to be replaced. They said I should hear from customer service to schedule a replacement appointment shortly. Fast forward a few weeks....no call. I called and emailed and called the contractor. NO ONE would reply! I reopened a ticket and they had nothing on record of the call from the first contractor. Now two months have passed and a second contractor has been scheduled. Today they called at the time they were due to arrive (after giving an 8 hour time frame for the appointment) and said they would have to reschedule because they did not receive the parts Frigidaire said they needed for the call. Parts???!!!! They have not even looked at the damaged frig?! When I tried to call Frigidaire about this and straighten this mess out for the 3rd time, they are not taking calls! They literally would not let me even wait for a rep through the 800 number. As you can tell, I am BEYOND frustrated and now I am doing what I can...making sure you know how this organization operates and does not stand behind the products they make.

I purchased the Frigidaire 70 pint dehumidifier model number CAD704DWL, June 10, 2016. The unit was the most efficient unit tested by Consumer's Report. Before purchasing the unit I looked at the on-line reviews. There seamed to be a problrem with some units, in that they ceased functionning after a few years. In 2017, I purchased a three year extended warranty to mitigate my risks of having purchased a faulty unit. In May of 2020 the unit failed. I contacted Frigidaire warranty and they said that they could not initiate any warranty claim with me providing the initial receipt from LOWES. The receipt was misplaced and is not to be found. The company acknowledged the purchase in 2016, took money to extend the warranty and now asks for proof of purchase, ... I have the unit !

After just getting off the phone with Frigidaire, they just prove to me they are not a reputable company I will continue my business with. Thank you to the kind Customer Service Agent, Sergio, who handled everything professionally but beyond his control. The audacity of Frigidaire/Electrolux to give customers the run around even if they paid for an extended warranty. Only to be told that my appliance is over 10 years old, which was verified prior to me purchasing the warranty, and someone entered the incorrect date of purchase for the warranty. All this lead to them canceling our warranty and charging us to have someone to come out. To add insult to injury, you can't provide a receipt for my refund and we have to wait 5-7 business days for it. It didn't take 5-7 business days to pay for the extended warranty! By the way, the 8 hour window for an technician is unreasonable. A customer have to sit at home twiddling their thumbs from 8 am - 5 pm until the technician to show up. Well, you have proved just how poorly you handle customers problems. YOU DON'T HANDLE THEM!!!

I purchased the worst fridge ever!!!!! I purchased the worst fridge ever!!!!!! I bought the double door stainless steel Frigidaire fridge from Lowes. I also purchased the 5 yr warranty. Within the first 9 mos. the right Interior side of the fridge cracked. They refused to replace the fridge and repaired it by placing an ugly tape on the side of the fridge. Since then, any food that sits near the back part of the fridge freezes completely. I’ve lost eggs, My vegetables become mush and other foods are ruined. The ice maker shoots out ice every time you use and it gets all over my kitchen floor leaving wet spots that I step into if not cleaned properly. The shelves are flimsy and crack easily. I have lost one out of the three shelves in my freezer. The most important one, the middle, in which, they claim they cannot fix. So therefore, I barely can use the space in my freezer. The warranty company gives you the run around and is difficult to deal with. I will NEVER purchase any appliance again from Lowes or Frigidaire!!!!!!! What a waste of money!!!!

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator, 18 cu. Ft. capacity for $540.00 on September 21, 2019 from Lowes. They delivered it to our small retail store where it was to be used in our private kitchen that only employees may enter to store food items. We were remodeling and did not actually start using for food storage until January 2020. It worked fine until February 7, 2020 when it stopped working and the food in it ruined. It would not get cold. I called Frigidaire and the customer service person looked everything up and said it was covered under the warranty and she scheduled a repair person to come out. The repair person contacted me prior to coming and said he could not come into a business location. I called Frigidaire and the customer service person, Marcus, said the warranty was void because the refrigerator is in a business location. I explained that it was only in a small kitchen and had less use than if it was at my residence. He was very unhelpful and said it didn’t matter. All they would do is schedule a repair person to come out and I would have to pay them to come out and I would have to pay for any repairs. Although Lowes knew the refrigerator was going to a business location and they delivered it to the business location, no one ever mentioned that this could void the warranty. I hired an independent repair person to come look at the refrigerator since I was going to have to pay for it anyway. He determined that the compressor is bad and so it would cost more to fix it than the refrigerator is worth. I have purchased Frigidaire’s in the past but I will not again. They do not stand behind their products. This refrigerator was barely even used and the compressor should not have gone bad in five months. It was obviously defective or the product is just crap. Either way, Frigidaire is a bad company that does not stand behind its products.
