Hi Caroline, we do not offer a specific recipe or plan for weight loss. We'd suggest consulting your veterinarian for guidelines regarding your dog's weight loss since they would know his health history best. Your vet can help ensure that he does not experience nutrient deficiencies and is able to obtain energy as he is losing weight. If your veterinarian can recommend the amount of calories your pup should consume for a goal of weight loss, you can then adjust how much you feed him. You would need to work with your vet so they could adjust and monitor recommended calories as your pup is losing weight. Additionally, please be sure to keep your dog's weight and body condition updated in your Freshpet Delivery customer account portal so that your dog's plan would adjust with him.
