Even though I have a good and long standing relationship with my psychiatrist, I was reluctant to ask him for an ESA letter because I felt like it was an imposition. The process to obtain the ESA letter from Free My Paws was surprisingly thorough and I was pleased to know that they do not just hand out letters to anyone. They were caring and provided multiple signed forms for each major airline plus the standard Fair Housing Act letter. I highly recommend them!
