The customer care was excellent, however, I was somewhat irritated that the vest does not have anyplace to hook a leash. I do not use a collar & leash, instead I have been using a harness. The vest would better serve me if there was a hook for a leash.

For smaller breeds like my 4.5 pd. Yorkie the buckles and strap you use are a bit too large and clumsy as well as the overall size of the vest itself. Also there should be a slit on the top of the vest for the lease to fit through. Owners of very small breeds prefer to use a harness with a lease as opposed to a collar and lease. These breeds have very sensitive necks. The little metal ID tag is way too large for these smaller breeds. I placed the Freemypaws vest over the harness I use for my Yorkie but have no way to use a lease without cutting a hole in the Freemypaws vest. So I can't take my Yorkie on walks with the vest on and I am unable to use the metal tags unless I sew it onto her harness. I hope this helps with improving future design for these tiny breeds.

Ordered this for a friend's Scottie. When it arrived, they said it was too large. When they were not looking, I measured Happy Lad with a soft flexible tape measure and his girth measured 23" and I ordered the size the corresponding size. Would you please contact them @ (630) 932-9575 to see if they are happy with the Service Dog Vest. This was too expensive for the owner not to be satisifed. Thank you, Larry Durrant, Purchaser

I registered and ordered a service kit for my chocolate lab in addition to the hoody thinking that the size large would fit her. I received a call regarding the hoody and after I gave the person the weight of my dog, it was determined that the hoody would not fit my Bailey. So the charge for the hoody was taken off my order. What a wonderful way to do business!! This saved me time in returning the hoody and I received the rest of the items in a timely manner. Thank You!!
