Made an order, but cancelled within 48 hours due to hidden charges. Refund took much longer than they advised and the amount refunded was not the full total. They claimed that the credit card company charges them for this, but I run a business that accepts credit card payments and I know this is not true. Attitude from customer service was reluctant and unconcerned with a positive experience.

Most horrible experience with this company! DO NOT PURCHASE. We were about to be in a law suit with company. Here is what we have had to deal with From beginning drawer doors getting stuck and not working well. I emailed 12/1/2024 saying the drawers not working well 12/2 I get a response from Megan Allen that I am Out of standard claims policy but to send photos 12/3 I send a video of drawers not opening up and our clothes are stuck inside dresser to Megan allen 12/4 I hear back from Megan Allen that they shared the video to the manufacturer and after review they believe the issue can be repaired. They will send the repair team to perform the necessary service 12/13 Repair team came to repair the dresser and said it was not fixable and we would be getting a new unit. 12/13 I get an email from Meghan allen again that they will not be repairing the dresser in face and in order to do this I will need to empty the contents of the dresser 12/13 I email Meghan that this is unacceptable. We were told we were getting a new unit and I am not able to get my clothes out of the dresser because we can not open the dresser and our clothes are stuck inside. My daughter is not able to use her clothes 12/16 Meghan asked if it is would be ok for them to open and remove clothes. I said yes 12/16 i give the ok for them to come and remove clothes. 1/6/2025 i follow up with Meghan bc i have not heard from Meghan since 12/16 nor has anyone come to fix dresser and clothes have been stuck in dresser the entire time. 1/7/2025 Meghan says warehouse Closed for 2 weeks. In the meantime clothes stuck entire time. Why? dresser is picked up 1/18/2025 I email asking for an update of my dresser 1/18/2025 I hear from Vanessa Carter that she has not heard from repairman and will get back to me in 2-3 days. 1/22/2025 I email Vanessa asking if she has heard anything and send her a photo of my daughters clothes scattered all over her room and ask if she can get back to me asap with when I will receive dresser 1/24 I email Vanessa again because I did not hear back from her asking for the status. 1/25 I get an email response from Vanessa saying the dresser should be ready in one week and she will get back to me. 2/2/2025 I email Vanessa again asking for an update. 2/4/2025 I email Vanessa again because no response I ask for Vanessa to call me so w can solve this once and for all. 2/5/2025 I get an email from james Harris that Quantum Shipping hub has my dresser and is scheduled for delivery in 1-2 weeks 2/17/2025 I email james Harris o on I putting this on website all these notes that I want people to know all about them asking when I will receive my dresser 2/18/2025 James Harris emails me that the dresser is actually still being repaired. He is saying the repair is complex and they need more time. He will update me in a week. 2/18/2025 I email james to call me 2/18/2025 I tell james this is unacceptable and we want our money back and I want to contact the better business bureau 2/18/2025 I get an email from shipping company that my dresser would be delivered on Friday. I call off of work to receive it. 2/19/2025 I get an email from james harris that they would like to honor us a brand new car placement from the manufacturer how would we like to proceed. 2/19/2025 I ask if it will be coming on Friday bc I called out of work to receive it 2/19/2025 I tell James harris if it is not coming by Friday I want my money back 2/20/2025 I email james harris again bc no response if i will be receiving dresser the following day bc i am missing a day of work. 2/20/2025 James response I will not be receiving dresser tomorrow it will take 2-5 weeks but they can ship me the previous dresser while waiting for replacement 2/20/2025 I ask for a refund bc this is ridiculous. My daughters clothes were stuck In this dresser for weeks now they have been all over her room for months 2/20/2025 I email James harris again I say the dresser was broken with a large whole In the back bc they had to pry it open to get my daughters clothes out so I do not want old dresser nor do I want to wait 2-5 weeks for new dresser. That I want my money back instead I also ask James to call me again instead of going back and fourth on email. No response 2/22 I decide to buy my daughter a new dresser somewhere else that will be delivered in 2 days. Now we are suing They will not call only respond via email No resolution no dresser waste of time and energy Terrible service

This organization seems to be a total scam. They took my money, randomly would send me emails that the item was being shipped only for me to find out that it never was. When I requested a cancellation, they said they would offer the refund at the cost of $123 or $65 if it is a store credit! Do not buy anything from these people even though it may look nice on the website.

This company is a scam. Do not purchase anything from them. Their pictures look good but in reality they are a scam. I unfortunately did not read the reviews prior to ordering.

You are pathetic and absolutely in favour of yourselves and not the customer. Maybe you should splash all over your website that you charge 3.4 % immediately after purchase if you decide to cancel. 2 days after finding out I had to arrange my own transport and it wasn't going to be free like advertised, also lead time is another mystery until you finally get an email back because there is no phone number to use to get in touch with anyone and they tell ya 10 WEEKS, well guess what, of course I want to cancel the order. Just be aware these place is a scam for lack of a better description, disgusting and pathetic. I would highly recommend going elsewhere like Fourhands for example, amazing customer service and quality quality products, no surprises like this outfit who pulled out their true colours with in 2 days of ordering on line and me trying to cancel. I am a custom homebuilder and have dealt with furniture companies for years but I have never experienced this sneaky, rude, self- intitled "screw you" type of service. Trust me, shop somewhere else. I know someone else who had ordered from this France and Sons and then cancelled and it took months to get their money back.

Canceled my order within 24 hours on Nov 25th. Company has refused to issue a refund and it’s Dec 14th. Order was not processed or shipped. They are withholding $4301. My bank is now involved. BEWARE this company is an online SCAM! It is pretending to be the danish mid-century designer ( France & Søn—and its predecessor, France & Daverkosen) The real store is closed. The phone numbers are fake.

One of the shadiest online furniture retailers we've ever bought from. Dishonest and extremely slow to ship the order.

I purchased a set of office furniture for France & Son for $4100. On the positive side, the furniture was priced below all other dealers of this premium brand of furniture and the sale process was smooth and efficient. From there everything went downhill. The reviews were mixed so I knew I was taking a gamble buying from them. The shipping company called Quantum was very bad. They were late for the initial estimated delivery date. Once scheduled they cancelled the day before delivery and rescheduled 2 weeks later. The day before the 2nd scheduled delivery they called and said they would be at my house in 40 mins. Fortunately, I was home and not inconvenienced by this earlier than planned delivery. In the back of the truck, I saw tipped over boxes but didn’t see any damage to my furniture until after they left. 2 of the 4 pieces (a desk and a file cabinet) were damaged. After many calls, France & Son agreed I could return the 2 damaged pieces for refund, but replacement pieces would cost a lot more because the sale price I purchase at was no longer offered. Normally I would expect original purchase price to be honored for replacement of damaged goods. Rather than pay the higher price I negotiated a partial refund for me to accept the damaged goods. After that it took another 3 ½ weeks to receive the refund. Everything moved in slow motion. It took more than 12 weeks from order to partial refund for this in-stock furniture. It took 18 phone calls, many of them involving long waits and a few involving promised return calls that did not happen. There were just as many emails too. I DO NOT recommend taking the high risk of purchasing from France & Son even though their pricing is good.
