Not as Good
I have bought several small Fracture photos which I loved. Unfortunately, this particular one the colors seemed faded. I am thinking about not giving this one as a gift.

I generally liked the look of the fracture picture. Overall sharpness is good and colors are vibrant. I felt like my picture turned out a bit overexposed and lower contrast than the image file I submitted which in my mind was a detriment to image quality. I also think it would be nice to have aspect ratio options other than square and 4:3. Overall I would consider another fracture print, but I would prepare the image file differently.

I wanted to start small to see if this would be a good way to preserve memories, so I sent a recent photo to be used on the smallest size available. This was a very straightforward process. When it arrived, I was confused about the packaging -- there were no directions in site. After finally realizing that the cardboard box had folds to hold the picture down, and a strong transparent strap was hold the picture to a separate cardboard mat, I lifted the assembly out and there in the bottom of the box were simple instructions. Put them on top! Please! My other disappointment was that the quality of the photo was tremendous, yet the replication lost some of the contrast. It lost the impact. So my wife decided not to hang it in clear site and we chose the guest bathroom to hang it up.

Downloading the images I wanted printed was easy. The turn around time was pretty fast and the quality of the prints, the packaging and the set up for hanging was all very well done. I would have purchased more, but the resolution for some of my photos was too high and created files that were too large. That was a great disappointment.

I’d heard about Fracture through various media outlets in the past. Then just weeks ago, my mother bought up a recent photo of their dog I had shot one late night as their house was under going transition. I don’t know what put it in her head, but out of her mouth, came a request for that photo on a Fracture. Timing is everything because Mother’s Day happened to be 2 weeks away & gave the Fracture idea serious thought. Previous attempts to alter or enlarge photos by photo labs & other entities have come back extremely distorted or oversize where much of the picture is cut out. For Mother’s Day, this Fracture thing was unique & different so I decided to gamble & upload “the” photo & place the order. To say that both myself & the gift recipient were pleased with her Fracture’d be a serious understatement. The picture came out flawlessly & appeared on the glass just as it was uploaded for creation. It was declared one of the best gifts ever as it almost bought mama to tears once removing it from its packaging. She even wanted me to autograph the Fracture because of how much she loved everything. I save my perfects or 5 or 10 star reviews for special companies & places. Fracture hits a Triple Grand Slam & highly worth a try to preserve one of your best moments or memories. Now that Mother’s Day wound up being the best ever, I’m scouting the photo collection for the next Fracture project.
