DON’T borrow from FourLeaf. They didn’t tell me that they wouldn’t withdraw the final payment from my account, or even that I had to fill out a form and pay a filing fee first. I kept getting incorrect information about resolving this from the employees, exacerbated by a mis-functioning website. Meanwhile they have ruined my credit rating—more expensive insurance, loans etc. Now 6 months later I find out they had the Satisfaction of Mortgage sent to them and I still don’t have proof that I own my house! The whole time they treated my concerns as if I was complaining about the equivalent of getting a hundred dollar bill instead of twenties at the ATM. I guess when they fail to make an electronic bill payment one will get the same lack of solution. Update: When I finally managed to pay off everything I was being charged for, I got a letter from the bank stating: “We will process the loan satisfaction documents and forward them to the proper authority within 30 days. Please note, it can take up to six months before the recorded copy of satisfaction is returned to you.” I myself contacted the county clerks office and found that it took them from 6/12 to 7/28 to file the paperwork, and that they requested that the letter of satisfaction be returned to them. So I called the bank and explained the situation and asked where was my copy. The person I spoke with was clueless but said they would get back to me. Two days later I got a call back where I was given the same information that I had already given them. When I ask again where is my copy he seemed confused about why I would want that and said that they had never gotten a copy of the letter and that I should just go to the county and request a copy. It would have just been too simple for the bank to say we didn’t get a copy please send one. Instead I had to go look up all the information they ask for. Apparently lifting and a finger for helping customers it’s just way too much work for them. Find a different bank!

When bank changed name, I was not notified with a letter of changing terms and conditions to my accounts. After 3 years of my saving account, they start charging $5 fee for a non-activity, but I did not have an activity since 2022 and never been charged by previous owner Bethpage. Also, I had a hard time to close my HELOC it took a while to finally close it (2 month).

It is impossible to speak with a human. Transfer of mortgage from BFCU to Four Leaf has been a disaster. They are totally unresponsive and robot controlled.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. SINCE BETHPAGE MERGED WITH THEM THEY HAVE A MIN OF 1-2 HOUR HOLD TIMES TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE. STAY AWAY

We came in to tale out a car loan and the guy who helped us was very nice but lacking the knowledge necessary to help us. He kept leaving to ask his fellow workers what to do. Also I was buying my daughters car and he said we would have to pay sales tax. WRONG , According to DMV NO TAX BETWEEN FAMILY MEMBERS. So, he had us borrow the money to pay the tax, when it wasn’t needed. Just a matter of information, not Criticism. Thank You. Robert and Christina Santos
