ForYourLegs.com is a division of Aleva Stores. Our parent company, American Medical Services, was founded in 1957 by Joseph L. Gaskins. "Mr. G.", as everyone knew him, was born in 1914 in a small farming community in southern Indiana. At age 3, he lost his leg to infection. After crutching to school and around the farm for 10 years, he received his first prosthetic leg. It was at that point in time he decided to dedicate his life to prosthetic manufacturing and to assisting those with medical needs. In the late 1930s, he moved to Michigan and continued working in the medical field. In 1957, he opened his first store in Pontiac, Michigan. Over 50 years later, we are proud to carry on his tradition of assisting those needing healthcare products. Through the power of the Internet, we have been able to not only carry on his legacy, but to expand it with the creation of Aleva Stores. We now serve over 1,000 customers daily and are quickly becoming one of the most respected healthcare product retailers in the industry. "Mr. G." recently passed away at the age of 94. He is greatly missed by us all, but we know he is looking down and smiling upon all he's created. Today, his legacy is carried on by his son, Larry Gaskins, and his grandson, Derek Gaskins. My order was handled with the good service I expected.
I was looking for an alternate source for Jobst compression socks. Their selection included what I was looking for and their prices were slightly lower than another vendor I have been buying from. I placed my order and I received what I ordered when I expected it. They do it right like they are supposed to do. Nuff said.

Very efficient company to deal with.
I love the Sigvaris hose with the open toes. These are much cooler in the Arizona weather and allows me to wear certain sandals. I have had to wear the anti-embolism hose for 20 plus years so I feel I have had a lot of experience in trying many brands and styles.

Quick, Easy, Efficient
I found ForYourLegs.com through a web search and was immediately impressed with the selection and price. I was shopping for compression hose to wear on an upcoming trip and the website was extremely easy to navigate and made it simple to find the item I was looking for. Not Satisfied! The return email has a link that says wait 2 to 4 hours for shipping status on your order. It has been 8 days and link still displays no information available. The charge shows on my credit card statement but still no shipping info.

The company works well, but the goods I purchased, Jobst compression socks, lack quality. Both socks purchased ran in nylon a few months later. Compression socks are very expensive and should last for several years if not forever. I am very dissapointed with Jobst's products and poor evaluation of For your Legs is a consequence of it.
