ForYourLegs.com is a division of Aleva Stores. Our parent company, American Medical Services, was founded in 1957 by Joseph L. Gaskins. "Mr. G.", as everyone knew him, was born in 1914 in a small farming community in southern Indiana. At age 3, he lost his leg to infection. After crutching to school and around the farm for 10 years, he received his first prosthetic leg. It was at that point in time he decided to dedicate his life to prosthetic manufacturing and to assisting those with medical needs. In the late 1930s, he moved to Michigan and continued working in the medical field. In 1957, he opened his first store in Pontiac, Michigan. Over 50 years later, we are proud to carry on his tradition of assisting those needing healthcare products. Through the power of the Internet, we have been able to not only carry on his legacy, but to expand it with the creation of Aleva Stores. We now serve over 1,000 customers daily and are quickly becoming one of the most respected healthcare product retailers in the industry. "Mr. G." recently passed away at the age of 94. He is greatly missed by us all, but we know he is looking down and smiling upon all he's created. Today, his legacy is carried on by his son, Larry Gaskins, and his grandson, Derek Gaskins. Great prices, Great socks
The Dr's. said I have to wear compression socks and my insurance paid for the first pair, i was going to order more when I found out the company sells them for $89.00 a pair, naturally I went through the roof. I sat down and googled compression socks and For Your Legs came up. I went to the site and found the socks I needed for $27.00 I called and a great lady sold me 2 pair. If I have to wear them This company makes them affordable with name brand products. I highly recomend them to every one.

Poor quality compression stockings
I ordered 2 pairs of Sigvaris compression stockings and one pair got holes in the foot area after just a few times worn. Customer service did replace them with free shipping, but since I did not save the box they came in, I had to pay $17 restocking fee- so beware! Save your box! I received the replacement pair and right out of the box- same problem! I did not want to go through trouble to send back, so will just never order this brand again, though they fit the best that I have tried.

Good selection, good prices
I was looking for stockings and a device that would help me put them on. I found this website that had a great selection of styles and brands. Then to top it off, they even had the device to help me put the stockings on.

Futura 20/30 wight calf high open toe support hose
I purchased the Futura 20/30 calf high open toe support hose for my sister who has ALS and is in a wheelchair per her doctor's request. I pesonally think they work well. She thinks they do what they are suppose to do. Push the fluid up out of her legs. Excellent!
