I was excited to try out forkful! It seems like they had amazing options, especially dairy-free options! Unfortunately, my order was delayed, and then the order that arrived had none of what I originally ordered- and contained ingredients both of what I was allergic to and what I did not prefer. Their customer service promptly informed me when my order would be delayed and said reply with any questions. I replied asking for a refund because the food was not what I had ordered. Then they ghosted. If I could give them 0 stars- I would.

I have tried every meal service available whether I have to cook it myself or it was pre-made and I have always thought the quality of food was excellent. Then I tried Forkful. Their ads claim to be simple ingredients with no additives etc but it is the worst tasting food ever. And I had ordered 20 meals for workdays! I never finished a single meal because the taste was terrible and I actually threw out another 3 without even opening them because I didn't see the point. Terrible.

I've yet to receive the first order, but so far the website and customer service has been dismal. I ordered 25 meals under a business account. I've received no verification or indication the account was set up or the meals were ordered. The website offers no areas to click to see any information. I started calling the customer service number at 8:00am this morning and on the third attempt, received a call back. I was placed on hold 20 min while she checked my order, only to then be sent to a voicemail. I called back and asked for another callback. I was initially told there was no account, then gave the address and she found my 25 meals...set to deliver between 11-7pm this evening. It's a business account and the office is only open until 5pm. She laughed that it was due to their courier service availability window. I'm now waiting for her to send an invoice and tracking information. Am I out over $300? Quick update 2 weeks later - never received any meals. Called and left messages several times. Always had to wait on callback. Was told my order was confirmed and would arrive 11am to 7pm. Nothing showed. Called back and was told that there was no order and I didn't exist in their system. Was asked if I was contacting the right company. (I was.) Was given another email to reach out to with a screenshot of my account/order. Said she would look into it and call back. Still waiting 15 days later.

So, I've been a customer for a few months now (I canceled a couple of days ago). The first two weeks went great. After that, they screwed up my order every single time afterwards. Sometimes it was by one or two meals and other times I was missing five or more meals and then other ones were swapped. It got really old after awhile. Phone customer service is great other than the fact that the company has a "no refund" policy and will only credit your account. Red flag, right? And don't even bother with their email customer service. You won't even get a reply! But there's more... Around the summertime, I started receiving some meals that were spoiled. Specifically, any of the meals that had the fresh tomatoes or the plantains were bad because they had spoiled. You would think by then I would have had enough and canceled. But the problem is that other meal prep services like Factor, Cook Unity, and others either use WAY too much sodium or use unhealthy seed oils. That is the only reason I stuck around. Then early this week, I found what looked and felt like hair that's the equivalent of a cat whisker (same texture) sticking out of one of my meals. Then a couple of days ago, I was chewing on something with an odd texture mixed in with another meal. I spit it out and it was something like a piece of sisal rope or a weird textured twig or something. And then just now as I was eating a late lunch (the ground turkey italian bolognese meal), I just bit down on something hard and I think it broke part of my tooth! I pulled it out and it was a small piece of a metal chain like the ones on a biker chain wallet (I have pictures, but Forkful must've disabled the feature for customers to upload images. Why am I not surprised???). How that got in there is beyond me! But I'm done with these people! And I hope they go out of business. And they just might if I decide to sue for damage to my teeth from this foreign object in my meal!

We have been waiting several months for payment from Forkfulmeals. Despite multiple follow-ups since June 2026, we have not received the outstanding payment or a clear payment date. We are posting this for awareness and hope Forkfulmeals will contact us directly to resolve the outstanding invoices.

There was an issue with my order, but Rhea handled it quickly and smoothly. I'm very thankful for how easy she made the interaction.

The issues I have had were resolved and responses were timely. Meals are great.
