DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH…
DO NOT DO ANY TYPE OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - IT IS A SCAM! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, I WOULD DO SO! Back in 2023, I fell for one of their ads and bought it. To go to the next step, I was “interviewed to see if I would be a good fit”. I was concerned about some of the statements that were made and asked if they were illegal in the state of Texas. I was reassured several times that they would not do anything illegal. At the end of the “interview”, I was told that I would be a fantastic fit and all I needed to do was pay $10,000 to get the Fast Track program that would walk me through everything to make me be successful. I did not have a lot of cash on hand, but could spread it over 3 different credit cards, which I did. I should have gotten a clue when the first credit card rejected the payment as a SCAM! I had to call them to ask them to take the payment, which they reluctantly did. I signed a contract stating that if I challenged the charge on my credit card, I would be in violation of contract. All of this should have made me back out, but I was so wanting a second stream of income, I did agree to all terms. I told them that I only wanted to do this in Texas and they assured me that it was still perfectly legal and I could make a lot if money. I learned AFTER I was enrolled that Texas caps the amount that an attorney can get for doing this at $1000 and that if you are NOT an attorney, then you get nothing! (Texas Tax Code 34.04). If this wasn’t bad enough, I was diagnosed with possible colon cancer soon after signing. I immediately contacted them to let them know this and that I needed every penny I had for the treatment. They refused to give me any type of refund even though I had tried to sign onto the website using their own links and was UNABLE TO DO SO! I continued to try to get a refund but they continued to refuse, stating I had not met the terms of the contract (as if I could do so considering the treatment I was going through). Michael finally stated that he would get with the billing department and put my membership “on hold” until I got better. However, I still continued to receive Google Meet invites for the “Weekly Leadership and Mindset Call | Fast Track” every week. (What legit company uses Google Drive to meet with their users?). I just received an email stating (and this is directly from the email), “Congratulations on going through the Fast Track program! We're so proud of you, and honored to celebrate graduation day with you!“ GRADUATION DAY?!?!? I have not accessed the software, had any 1:1 since I was turned down for the refund, nor any other help from them! Not to mention that during the time I signed up and the time of my “graduation”, I had received an invitation to learn how to help people find Unclaimed Property and could charge for this service! I asked if this was illegal without some type of license and was told no, I was legal to do this. However, on this I know the law as I had looked into doing this myself before ever becoming involved with Foreclosure Academy. IT IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF TEXAS TO DO UNCLAIMED PROPERTY CLAIMS AS A THIRD PARTY UNLESS YOU ARE A LICENSED PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR THROUGH THE STATE OF TEXAS!!!! So obviously, my membership was not put “on hold” as I was told it would be, unless I employed an Attorney I would not be able to assist people in getting their money back and even then it would be limited to $1000 minus the Attorney fees, and finally they were encouraging me and lying to me about getting Unclaimed Property back to people without a license which would PUT ME IN JAIL IF I WAS CAUGHT DOING SO! Do NOT fall for their scams, do NOT sign up with them, and please DO NOT give them ANY money!
