Food LionReviews of foodlion.com

I received a free sample of Stubbs bbq sauce and it was amazing. Best bbq sauce I have had in a long time. I highly recommend getting it to try if you like bbq sauce.

I'm so angry that the foodlion brand decaffeinated coffee is almost 20 dollars . It's higher then the name brand coffe. I just had to get this out

I have shopped at Food Lion in this area (and other stores) for 19 years. Over those years, Food Lion has increased the number of organic food items—fresh and pre-packaged—where other big retailers have decreased their selections. I have been on an extremely low budget for the last four years. Yes, you do need to look at anything fresh before you purchase it(anywhere), but for my money, my groceries will mainly come from there because getting older, I need to eat a healthy diet. Food Lion allows me to do that on my budget.

My husband and I love Foodlion, what we don’t love is Instacart the workers need more training on how to shop as in what to look for etc. I’m sure I’m not the only one who works everyday 40 hrs a week and just want to relax on the weekends or catch up on house work, no time to go grocery shopping so we “trust” online grocery shopping from time to time which is very convenient. Today, I ordered groceries online and had them delivered. After getting them in the house I noticed 2 of my meats that I use to season my food were no good. I had pork fatback and Hobe’s sliced ham hock first of all the vacuum sealed pack wasn’t sealed (as if there was a hole in it) and the sliced ham hock was molded. “Very visible” who gets groceries and not notice things like this? I was very disappointed because I felt like the shopper clearly didn’t care what he gave me, I’m almost positive he would not have taken this home to his family to cook and eat. These days not only do people not want to work- they don’t care either.

Food lion is a great store but for the last few times I been there I bought milk and even those the date on it was not expired yet it went bad before the date...other then that it's a great store and good prices....

In Gastonia, NC, there is a large variety of human, dog, and cat food. It is fresh. I also like the Deli, which gets out the barbecued hens every day. I bought one, and it was very tasty! I would have given a 5 rating. However, I would have to find lower priced meat. My only wish would be that the prices in meats and dog food would drop down. How about a sale: Buy one dozen eggs and get one dozen free! Food prices have been rising substantially, and it is hard for seniors to buy meat and dog food.

everything was just about right.

I love shopping there prices are ok. But, why do I, always get the rude cashier, who acts like I was the one who, caused them to have a bad day?It can't hurt to say,"Good morning" or "Have a nice day,"can it?You chose that job I didn't. Geez.
