Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Crooked. I have my BP credit card through this bank. Made payments online through BofA for about 2 years. No problem. I would make payments about 5 days before due date. Then in June and sept 2026 notice a late fee charge. When i went to make October payment it said that FNBO would only take a check and that it would take 8 days to receive it. I had always paid with bank to bank (ACH). But now they would not accept ACH. Just so they could charge me a late fee. Payments were all below 300. So one month it would accept ACH and then another it would not. This is a crooked game they play to steal your money. I paid off credit card and will never deal with them again.

I paid off charges that posted before my payment was posted and they told me that I paid them, too soon, and they used most of my payment to pay off a 0% interest deferred transaction ( which was not due to be paid in full till 03-2027. Now I have almost $800 which they say is eligible to be charged the 24.99% interest. I have never paid interest on my credit card, but their explanation when I send in a payment on charges not posted they should not/can not use the money until it shows up in the "billing cycle" however they have never waited for the charges the "show up" before accepting my payment and using that payment to pay off the credit card.

I was approved for a credit card on 9/29/26. I called on 10/8/26 after not receiving the card in the mail. Customer Service told me to wait a few more days. I called again today 10/18/26. I got the same runaround. “You need to wait another week.” I said “If this is the kind of customer service I can expect, I do not want to do business with you. Close the account.” She was irritated but so was I. If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I would!!!

I've been with this company for five years, and only recently have you started reporting late payments to the credit bureaus. After reviewing my payment history with them, I was told the issue was related to making a payment on 31st and another on the next month on the 23rd, which apparently fell within the same billing cycle. I find this unreasonable. I made payments less than a month apart, and I don't believe that warrants reporting a late payment to the credit bureaus. It makes no sense to penalize a customer for making payments, especially after five years of being a customer. This has happened twice.

I received this credit card as an Amtrak Guest Rewards credit card, issued through FNBO. Unfortunately, my experience with FNBO has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I filed a dispute approximately a year ago, but FNBO did not keep me properly informed about the status of my case. I did not receive clear communication explaining whether my dispute was still under review, denied, dismissed, closed, or otherwise resolved. As an Amtrak Guest Rewards cardholder, I expected much better communication and customer service, especially regarding something as important as a credit card dispute. Being left without a clear explanation or resolution for such a long period was extremely frustrating and made me feel that my concerns were not being taken seriously. Based on my personal experience, I am very dissatisfied with FNBO's communication and handling of my dispute. I hope FNBO improves its dispute process and provides customers with timely, clear updates regarding the status and final outcome of their cases.

Very dissapointed with FNBO. I have the Amtrak CC and I always get in the mail their balance transfer offers with a blank check. They promise a lifetime 7% interest so I wanted to give it a try. I have done this with Chase, US bank, BOFA, Citbank and never any issues. Well, FNBO apparently does not do them, they posted the amount that I requested but never received anything in my account where I wanted the money deposited . I called and apparently now I have to wait for my bank to reject it because its a checking account and not a business like wth?? Never heard of that before, they better not charge me the transaction fee. I will never use them again once this is said and done. Why send me all these offers they cant fulfill

This is the worst bank I've ever talked at, slow service, employees stand around talking to each other while customers wait. They offered a $500 bonus for opening a checking account and moving direct deposits to their bank for 90 days, with an additional 30 day waiting period for your $500 bonus. At the end of the 120 days they said my direct deposit didn't qualify, which is not what I was told when I opened the account, and explained to the banker exactly what my deposits would be.

Trash customer service. Can’t even contact anyone to cancel the card.
