Stay away from this company!!! Suck system!! Suck everything!!

I have a BP gas card through FNBO that gives a .15 per gallon discount at BP and Amoco stations. I've always paid in full each month and have never had a problem. Then I decided to take advantage of a low interest balance transfer promotion that they solicited. After the balance transfer, I continued to use the card for gas, and each month have added the minimum payment, interest, and all of my gas purchases together, and paid that amount. I can't get a straight story out of the Indian csr's but it appears that due to the balance transfer, they are charging 32.25% apr accrued daily on the gas charges. I've never seen such a shyster move in my life. By federal law they have to apply anything over the minimum payment to the highest interest, but these scumbags have found a way to scam their customers. It's not a lot of money, but I'm a senior citizen in Florida and our office of financial regulation takes this kind of thing seriously. Please be careful dealing with this company. In answer to their reply: I spoke to FNBO twice and was unable to get a clear answer as to why they are not paying off higher interest balances when they receive more than the the minimum payment. Hopefully the Florida Division Of Banking and Finance will be able to get an answer. RE: FNBO's reply. I'm not unclear at all about your unscrupulous practices. Once someone does a low interest balance transfer, and then makes a purchase, you start charging interest DAILY on that that purchase at a rate of 32.9 APR. There is no chance to pay off the new purchase without paying the 32.99% interest for however many days have elapsed from the purchase until the customer gets their statement. You are by far the scummiest bank I've ever had the misfortune to deal with, and I've cut your gas card into about 50 pieces.

I have been a customer of FNBO for many years and have used their bill payment service for almost all bill payments. Since they upgraded (?) to the "New and Improved" bill payment system. The service has been unreliable, confusing and generally a pain in the butt to use. Some services "don't work yet" some are completely gone. I am moving away from FNBO to someone else I just don't know who yet. In FNBO speak QA must stand for Quality Avoidance. Someone could advise them that TESTING is not a dirty word.

I opened a credit card with FNBO several years ago. FNBO offered a good credit card with good customer service for several. years. Now it is the exact opposite. I was loyal and accumulated several thousand points over the years, over 100k. In my last statement, my credit limit went from $30k to $0 and my point balance went from 25,382 to 0. I called the bank and was initially told, my account was closed due to fraud protection and they could not re-open my account. My only choice was to apply for a new card as if I was a new customer and my points were forfeited. I spoke with 2 customer service agents, a fraud specialist, and a fraud escalation lead; all providing the same message, they do not care and the best they could do, is provide a letter explaining what happened. Stay away from FNBO. I had similar situation with other credit cards and they flag the current card and issue a new card, while preserving the account. Not only did I lose my points, I also took a hit on my credit report since they closed my account, which changes my debt-to-credit ratio.

I am very, very frustrated with this company! I have made my payments religiously and never been late and they reduced my credit limit. Plus I have never been late on any of my other credit card payments so what heck? I am not nor will I ever be a risk so whatever system you are using is definitely not fair!

Probably the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with shitty customer service and shady business practices like double charging payments without authorization. I would give them zero stars if I could stay away from this bank.

I mistakenly sent a large payment to them electronically intended for another credit card company. They are now telling me it will take 45 days for them to return my money on a zero balance account. Totally, unacceptable
