The most fantastic employee by the name of Hazel Love at the CPT service desk. She was so kind, patient and helpful when Qantas messed up my flight with SAA. I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I was for her help, during such a stressful event. When I needed to get my delayed baggage sorted, SAA but it in their office to prevent theft and were efficient at providing me answers.

We had a very short flight, from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to Johannesburg. Thank you for the service even on such a short flight, we were given a packed lunchbox with pictures of South Africa and the sandwich and nibbles inside were very good as well as bottle of water. Thank for a safe and pleasant journey on S.A. 041 on the August 21st 2026, thank you to Gillian Kamoo(purser),Lesego Maredi, Karabo Mapailo, Elkana Mkhabela.

During my last 3 flights with this company, it's been the best experience according to price-quality. The food is very nice in comparison to other airlines. They keep offering drinks and water, which levels up the experience. The staff have always been friendly and with an amazing attitude. Even though the aircraft looks a little outdated, I gotta say that it's still much more comfortable than seats from other airlines, + they recline much more than others. I want to fly with SAA always,and will continue doing so.

I was honestly so impressed with the amazing experience going to jhb and coming back to Cape Town with South African airlines. Friendly helpful staff, took time to have a quick chat with me. Lovely to get free drinks and a snack. Flew on time both ways. Will most definitely recommend them. I dont usually comment but felt I needed to.. Ruth Crump

Very good experience flying by this aircraft. Gentle crews, Natasha and the other young gentleman. Good and hot food. Good service and safe travel with the pilots. 🙏🙏🙏

I cannot recommend SAA enough. Had an early flight from JHB to PLZ recently and back today. Both ways the service was flawless from check in to boarding to the flight itself. All staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you SAA

Tonight I called SAA UK reservations line for help. We were flying into JNB tomorrow morning and our domestic SAA flight to CT had been cancelled and rebooked to a later time. This didn’t suit us at all as we were due to arrive in time for a wedding tomorrow afternoon. We dealt with a KABELO NZIMANDI and she was OUTSTANDING!! She was polite, professional and extremely helpful throughout our call and managed to move the 3 of us into an earlier flight! She literally saved the day 👊
