The tour was cancelled due to weather. I asked for refund as I’m flying out of country. They refused and felt like scammed with their policy. It’s worldwide if anything cancelled due to weather then refund as a must for customers.
Response from FlyNYONJul 6, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry your flight was canceled due to weather and understand how disappointing that is, especially when you're traveling internationally. Safety is our highest priority, and weather-related cancellations are made only when conditions are not safe for flight. While we understand your preference for a refund, our Weather Insurance policy, which is agreed to at the time of booking, provides a full refund minus the purchase of the insurance. This allows passengers to receive a refund for this case. Other wise, a voucher valid for future use. We hope you'll have the opportunity to redeem your voucher and fly with us under better conditions in the future.

The reception was poor, though the setup was excellent. A change in weather conditions prevented us from completing the agreed-upon time, and no compensation was offered.
Response from FlyNYONJul 5, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry that changing weather conditions affected your experience. The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority, and when weather conditions deteriorate, our pilots may be required to shorten or modify a flight to comply with FAA regulations and operate safely. While we understand this can be disappointing, flights impacted by weather are not eligible for compensation, as these circumstances are outside of our control. We appreciate your understanding that safety must always come first. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a future flight under clearer skies.

The person who fitted the harness was extremely friendly, but they sell an "open-door" service—allowing you to dangle your feet—yet they seat five people in the helicopter, leaving the person in the middle unable to fully enjoy the experience. Furthermore, they should take into account that the vast majority of participants are foreigners who do not speak English, yet instructions and rules are provided only in English.
Response from FlyNYONJul 5, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that our team member who fitted your harness provided a friendly experience. Regarding seating, all passenger assignments are determined by FAA-required weight and balance calculations to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft. While we do our best to accommodate preferences whenever possible, seating positions cannot be guaranteed and may vary from flight to flight. We also offer our safety instructions in multiple languages for international guests. Safety is our highest priority, and we strive to ensure all passengers understand the procedures before departure. We appreciate you sharing your experience, as feedback like yours helps us continue improving the experience for all of our guests.
